Adjusted for inflation, 2010 US Defense spending 602%, 75% of peak WWI, WWII spending respectively

Just some ridiculous calculations I did and would like to share:

Defense Spending in 1919: $11,260,000,000 (Inflation adjustment for 2010: $140,650,379,816.22)
Defense Spending in 1945: $93,740,000,000 (Inflation adjustment for 2010: $1,123,262,164,672.07)
Defense Spending in 2010: $847,170,000,000

While we have zero declared wars, we are spending six times more than we spent in the peak year WWI and three quarters of what we spent in the peak year of WWII.
