Presidential Candidate Says Electoral Process Hijacked

Gary Johnson has had enough:

Former New Mexico Governor and Republican Presidential candidate Gary Johnson has had enough. Johnson, a favorite among the populist and libertarian wing of the GOP, has been systematically kept out of almost all of the race’s nationally televised debates. Just as bad, he’s been purposely omitted from most of the national polls which the major TV networks insist is the main criteria deciding who gets an invitation and who doesn’t.

Johnson's announcement begins with the headline, 'Gary Johnson to RNC: Letting News Media Pre-Select Presidential Field is Irresponsible'.

Establishment wins again

Only two candidates for the people and they are both kept away from the people. Simple really.

After its clear that the GOP

Simply will not let us in, and the RINOs and big government Republicans start throwing their corporate weight around, all the liberty oriented republicans should make a break for the libertarian party. Amash, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and others. Use Ron's 15% of the party vote to start a new stronger libertarian party.

Starting GOP was a good strategy, but it can be carried too far. There is an entrenched group of authoritarians, that won't be going away for some time yet, and has substantial numbers.

If the Libertarian Party could actually get their candidates media time and debate time and get on the ballot (i.e. if we changed the 2-party system) in the US, then I would support Ron Paul & Gary Johnson as Libertarians in 2016....

For now, we have to stay the course and get RP elected in 2012.

Also, the MSM and Republican Party need to know that if Ron paul does not get the nomination, all his supporters are going to write him in and Obama may win. Therefore, just nominate Ron Paul for real change in America!

Who isn't for Liberty?

Vote for Ron no matter what!

I said before that if the media and the party keeps ignoring Dr. Paul and keep him off the ballot; I would vote for Obama. I like you idea better. A write in he shall be, unless he is the Republican candidate. This should be a strategy and pledge every Ron Paul supporter should take. We have to take back control of our country.

"if we changed the 2-party system"

That's really the whole trick, isn't it?

Come on Gary.

We all know you gotta be in the neo-con club to get the love.

I do not know why he had "no

I do not know why he had "no idea" this would happen. I guess he just did not really want to vote for Ron in the 2008 election, so he paid no attention. I almost posted some videos from that time, yesterday, just so people could hear the laughter in the background when Ron spoke, and the senseless marginalization of him with every speech he made. Then I thought, why bring it up? We are on a roll now, and just need to keep spreading the word the way we KNOW we can. The RNC will not help. They may just be a part of the problem.

I'm writing my county chairman about this

and asking her to yank our state Chairman's chain to yank Preebie's chain.

Gary Johnson stood up for all of us, I'm standing up for him.

Gary Johnson

Gary Johnson would be better off running for Senate. The one debate he was allowed to participate in was one of the best, which is why he has been kept out of all the others.

he was in 2 debates

I agree

Thanks for a bump.

I think when Ron Paul wins presidency he would consider to include Gary Johnson in his administration.

I admire Johnson for his integrity hard work...he deserves better -- MSM is a joke... & we must send a message to GOP that what they are doing to Gary Johnson is Orwellian 1984 style BS & things have to change.

Reminds me of Ralph Nader

In 1992, 1996, Y2K 04 and then Ron Paul AND Ralph Nader in 08.... ANd I bet before 92, there was someone... Did you know that there are normally over 100 presidential candidates? I'm personally not very interested in Johnson as I have allot on my plate trying to get Ron Paul more respect. If I go to my next RCC meeting and talk about Johnson, they'll use that as an opportunity to dice me on every candidate, so I'm solid on Ron Paul, and this is quite enough for them. I need them to back me to get my letters to the editor about Ron Paul published.

I hope you're having a wonderful day!
