Paul Wooing the Bulk of Undecideds in NH
Submitted by petersburgpanic on Sun, 12/30/2007 - 00:48
I'm not really terribly surprised by this, but according to local news sources in NH, Ron Paul seems to be picking up about half of undecideds after campaign appearances in NH.
Extrapolating from the article below, it seems like the other half Paul isn't "converting" seem to have a strong contingent that is still undecided but leaning towards him.
If we take this small sample as indicative of what may be going on in NH as a whole, it seems pretty clear to me that RP is going to do way better than 5th in NH. If he really pulls in 50% of the undecideds that could swing the whole election to him.

enthusiastic supporters win primaries
People not sure who to vote for generally don't bother to vote in primaries. I think Ron Paul has a great chance to win in Iowa and NH, and NC. The polls and pundits are almost always way off if you look at past elections, and this election is less predictable than usual.
That wasn't a positve

Another attempted smear job. Those "concerns" are pretty weak.
I agree
That article was less than complimentary. I'm sure he is gaining votes left and right, but we don't need that piece to tout it. Yuk.

Brilliant article that explains why we love Dr. Paul:

Thank you for the positive article.
Nice to hear.
I think the lady who thought he lacked "leadership" doesn't know what she's talking about.
I though about it and decided she meant someone who is willing to sell out and compromise their principles to get "things" done.
"things" meaning legislation which appears to help the poeple but really is inneffective and a burden on the taxpayer and might help the participant get re-elected.

It was funny.. the last
It was funny.. the last quote talked about how he didn't think ron paul's solutions were viable unless we had an entire economic collapse, and then we brought paul in. Isn't that exactly what those foreign (swiss?) bank forcasters predicted?

People are still blind
Even these undecided people seem like they want more of the same. Too far down a path to change. What kind of attitude is that when the path you are on, is getting you lost.. to the point you will never be found? At that point, no matter how far down the path you are.. you have to change course, or you're dead.
And what's this with everyone thinking our President has to be our LEADER? Last I checked, WE are suppose to run this country. WE are suppose to tell our elected officials what we want. The "leadership" qualities everyone seems to be so use to, is a president basically imposing their will on us regardless of our opinion. So it's no wonder that woman is going to support Romney. She wants someone who is going to tell her what to do. Someone who simply wants to pass this, pass that, only for the sake of saying they passed something... regardless of it being a good or bad idea.
Congress meets every year for one purpose, to pass more laws and CONTROL us. These bafoons have no desire to be leaders to us... they want to be controllers. A good leader INSPIRES. That's why you consider a Quarterback, the team leader. They inspire the team and encourage them to do their best. That is exactly what Ron Paul would do.
But no, we want someone who will lead (I mean control) us by passing more controlling laws.
Independents? Doesn't seem so to me.

Wow, you should post that where the undecided in NH will see it. Wonderfully written!

Totally agreed!
jednp, I couldn't have written this better myself....was thinking the same thing ... "Live Free or Die" I thought the state motto was? Romney? Doesn't appear this woman has done a lot of home work regardless and is just utilizing the luxury of having the candidates linger around the state so she can "see if she likes them" and if they would "be a good leader" ..... whatever.....
This is absolutely right.
This is absolutely right.

A Paul-Romney-McCain race?
The article makes it out to be a three-way race based on the attendees preferences. We can only hope. But I love seeing the tables turned and Guiliani, Huckabee, and Thompson not even getting a mention!
