Don't know who you're referring to as the "real enemy"

Just hope it's not more NWO bs.. if you're saying the whole spontaneous order of the whole country can be successfully manipulated forever, then you've proven the free market theory wrong because it theorizes that the market forces is the MOST powerful thereby inherently contradict the theory that a few elites can successfully manipulate the world markets.. if you are right and free market is wrong, it would be more effective to just have the elites rule us, since they are smart enough to steer everything to directions as they will. our concerns then should be getting 'good elites' since their intellect are so above ordinary humans, not get rid of them. get over it, 'elites' try and go, they aren't that smart. what you're seeing here is real.. it's a real mistake made by a collective of the older generation and their unrealistic pursuit of an economic utopia.. if you're not another one of those NWO paranoids, disregard this.

my point is schiff knows what he is dong.. he is the master attention hooker.. he went around with those signs to attract the most passionate ows leaders to debate him.. if he just went on to talk to some bottom people not leading these movements, it would be much less effective, because people won't pay attention and these people aren't so mouth-smart in the first place. don't proclaim that peter schiff is 'helping' 'the enemy' so confidently like you just came back from interviewing god or something. he knows what he is doing and it's exactly as he intended. if you think he's not doing well enough, you can always try. no offense but too many people sit around pointing at this movements' leaders 'well this can be done better' 'well that there is not good enough'.

You make an interesting point

You make an interesting point in saying that the "elites" cannot successfully manipulate the "free market of ideas" forever because market forces eventually win out, but I think what you fail to realize is that "NWO Conspiracy loons" such as myself ARE PART OF those market forces. And because we've been proven right and predicted so many things our market-value is steadily rising.

I would also argue that this is not a true free market of ideas, but rather a cronyist, manipluated idea-market. If you have the CIA behind this movement, or you have George Soros trying to steer this movement, then it's a manipulated and un-free market...but it doesn't have to be. As with all "manipulated markets" the first step to freeing them is to turn a light on (like auditing the FED, labeling GMO's, etc) and allow people to see what ideas they're actually purchasing, and who the seller is. What this manipulated marketplace-of-ideas which produces OWS amounts to is a marketplace run amock with fraud.

And I know you're giggling at my confidence in these "conspiracy theories" but I should mention that there's plenty of historical precedent for my asessment of the devil's hand guiding OWS- The Black Panther movement, for instance, began as a way for black people to protect themselves and their neighborhoods from crime, since the police were failing them. They armed themselves and were purely focused on defense...good group, until Cointelpro steered them in a violent, militant direction. The modern militia movement is the same such instance. And more recently, the Tea Party is another example of a movement (started by us, the Ron Paulites!) and yet has been steered by the Koch Bros, Perry and Palin into another direction.

Listen, I just don't think it's right to continually divide ourselves and hate our brothers. The left says the same thing "The Tea Party is a bunch of idiots for wanting to cut taxes and spending" but that's because, in the Tea Party--which we started--our intelligent voices have been drowned out by all the beer belching and Koch can-opening once the Johnny-Come-Lately's arrived. Instead of dividing ourselves into more moronic groups, we ought to be uniting by what we have in common (or as Ron Paul says "build coalitions").I don't have to converse with "God" to know that OWS is being steered by the PTB, I just have to pay attention to the real world as the evidence is abundant BUT EVEN IF I'M WRONG ABOUT OWS being Occupied by CIA and Soros, I know it's wrong to hate and disparage people for having a gut-sense that something's wrong in the world. I think our energies are better spent educating and trying to come together with people instead of belittling and dividing further...oh, and to come to THAT conclusion, I actually do converse with God.

Need something for this type of physically threatening

encounters in light of this Schiff encounter: video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZr9c1zYaOE&feature=mfu_in_or...

guy is practically waving fists in peter's face. it's also a type of debate technique regardless.. you're sending subtle hints of physical violence and it can trigger primitive mechanisms in the other person and slow down his brain function.. this may be one of the most primitive yet effective street smarts.. and i expect we will be seeing more and more of this. even peter schiff here obviously isn't used to this type of situation. think of a strategy now, before you actually encounter it. it will be too late.

not just a verbal response. imagine yourself being verbally insulted and intimidated but not down to the level of actual and physical threat (and on purpose, because if the other side actually threatens violence, it diminishes him, so he stares you down and use lots of body language that only you will notice, and if you lose debate you lose fair and square in other people's eyes), how you can still argue effectively, even when being yelled over, because you simply can't expect as much of a good, 'civil' debate environment when out in the streets, especially dealing with these people.

Perfect

That was perfect. She was just showing her belligerence by not even listening to what he was saying and sticking to talking points~!

Same thing I've seen here in Oakland....it's crazy and shameful. RP supporters of the world: STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVEMENT! I beg of you.

From the heart of the beast-
mmaaaxx

This video shows the hypocrisy within the OWS movement.

But first, let me say that yes I do support the anyone's right to peacefully protest and yes I do support their cause against Crony Capitalism & Corporate Welfare.

The hypocrisy is thus: The 99% who on the one hand, --- correctly see the 1% insider incestuous relationship between some super large WS Corporations and the Federal Government. They correctly see the fact that the 99% have 'lost their government" to the 1% who have "bought" the government. So far so good,

But then on the other hand, --- the 99% want to "tax the rich 1%". That is they want the 1% to "pay more of their share". That is their solution and it will surely backfire badly.

So what is the hypocrisy? The hypocrisy is this, The OWS crowds want the 1% to give more of their private wealth over to the government, which is an INSTITUTION OF POWER & FORCE that the 1% already control and we the 99% do not control. That means more power and control for the 1% to "legally" control, use, and abuse the 99%. That means more money for Police to Beat the Protesters. That means more guns and tanks and empire. That means MORE centralized control, not decentralized power to the masses. More taxes paid by the elites means MORE LAWS that are not conducive to more Equality & Liberty, yes taxing the 1% means more Slavery & Oppression for 99%. By sending still more monies to government, by allowing the government that we do not control (have we ever controlled it?) to then SPEND it as the 1% insiders will surely direct it to THEIR selfish purposes, we in the 99% will forever be debt-slaves, tax slaves, and soldier-slaves all legally controlled through government by the 1%. Which is to say, nothing changes.

So what then is the solution? Answer: Shrink the INSTITUTION OF POWER & FORCE. That is, shrink the Government. Decentralize power back to the people. Restrict government's power-thus the power of the 1%, by cutting of all government funding. Most of all, government gets its power through money, the power to tax and Spend,,,, so the 99% should turn against all government taxing and spending, shrinking the power of government, thus shrinking the sphere of influence that the 1% can have over us 99%.

A small government gives the 99% the greatest social Equality & Liberty.

Hypocrisy is not the right word

It's not hypocrisy, it's genuine ignorance.

Other than that, your post is right-on.

Bing, bing, bing. Obama

Bing, bing, bing. Obama announces Student Loan Bailouts,,, and OWS has been promoting this. Conclucion: OWS is all about promoting student loan bailouts and buying votes. Ugghhhh. In other wwords, it's a fraud. Back to the drawing board.

Conclusion #2. Obama finds way to increase his chances of being elected because he found a group that is massive (people with student loan debt) and he's offering to give them free stuff.

Too many people elect a president based upon how he or she will favor them.

Comedy gold!

Sometimes I'm ashamed to be human, walking around this earth with these idiots.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

I could see Dr. Paul doing that— IF

he just had the time.

Taxes are not the problem

They are arguing over taxes...that is a distraction. Who's gonna pay the interest so we can create more debt? That is the real question. But NOBODY...with the exception of Dr. Paul...sees the forest through the trees. The problem is not taxes. The problem is systemic. The problem is that our monetary system is fundamentally flawed. Well...it is flawed if you're in the middle class or poor. If you're in the 1%...our monetary system is great. Our monetary system produces the fruit that we're seeing across the world. Corporate corruption and greed at the expense of human life. What do we value? I value freedom and liberty. FU$K the government!!!!

Taxes are a big part of the

Taxes are a big part of the problem because, in addition to the Federal Reserve, taxes allow the federal government to grow, which leads to more regulation and more corporatism. The Federal government needs to have a LOT LESS MONEY! Yes, the Fed is definitely a major source of money for the federal government, but so are taxes.

Also, taxes are what forces the 1% to take their companies (and their jobs) elsewhere.

Sorry...you're misguided about taxes

The debt is so huge that borrowing is necessary to pay the interest on existing debt. Tax revenue simply represents our ability to pay interest. In essence...our government is being run like an interest-only mortgage...except worse because the payments keep going up. My point on taxes is that we can argue about...change it...whatever. Doesn't matter. The monetary system causes this issue...not taxes. They want to expand the money supply and they can't do that without issuing new debt (money). Money is debt in this system. This fight has been going on for a long time...but they are winning. This pyramid scheme is almost past the mature phase...

BTW...your last sentence sounds like a sound-byte from the Sean Hannity show. Taxes are NOT what causes the 1% to take their companies (and their jobs) elsewhere. Greed is the cause of that phenomena. If you can't see that...then you lack any kind of spiritual discernment. Even if the Corporate Tax were zero...they'd still go for the cheapest labor possible. Multinational Corporations have no allegiance to nations or people. It doesn't matter where they are headquartered.

Good day Sir.

I don't disagree with you

I don't disagree with you that tax revenue, in a way, represents our ability to pay interest. I also don't disagree that the monetary system is one of the most important and immediate threats to our sovereignty and our liberty. However, I suggest you should not be so quick to completely discount the effect of tax on governmental philosophy, which is inextricably linked with monetary policy.

Peter Schiff agrees with me that taxes are a reason for businesses going elsewhere. Yes, it is true that many business will seek the cheapest labor available anywhere, which is not in the US -- however, depending on the size and scope of their business, the amount of labor required, the product(s) the business produces, and the intended market for those products, many business owners would prefer to keep their companies in the United States. How can you deny that the corporate tax is a factor in their decision?

What percentage of US businesses are multinational corporations?

You accuse me of being akin to a sound byte from Hannity, yet your signature quote is a greatly hypocritical one from JFK. You should not give Hannity so much credit -- he often does not deal in logical responses and known processes.

1%, 99% + Taxes BS

"What percentage of US businesses are multinational corporations? "

The better questions would be how much of the US GDP comes from multinational corporations? For the record...I'm not saying that corporate taxes aren't a factor in their decision-making. It is. What I am saying is that we can drop the corporate tax rate and we'll still have the same problems we have today. The problem is WAY too much spending. The problem is entitlement programs. The problem is spending money on the "Drug War". The biggest problem is military spending. Completely and totally unnecessary. We spend 5 times more on military than China...and more than the rest of the world combined:

I agree with everything you

I agree with everything you said (although I do not think GDP is a great indicator). Would it be that difficult to add one more sentence to your list of spending, entitlements, drug war, and militarism? Just throw the word "taxes" in right after militarism. Helps shrink the size of the Federal government a bit and reminds people that the government doesn't own them!

The federal government could

The federal government could grow even if there were no taxes. It is the monetary system that allows this. When government must go to the people for all of its revenue, then it becomes truly limited. Fiat currency allows government to tax without ever getting permission.

Peter Schiff gives an intellectual smack down! Like I said before, these people just want to talk loud and be right, if they would just stop and listen to the man for a few minutes, they would learn a thing or two.

They have no interest in

They have no interest in education. They've been topped off on socialist agenda at their indoctrination institution of choice. All they understand is that if they scream loud enough someone will take food off of someone else's table to keep them fed.
