I'm So Glad Ron Paul Lost The Ames Iowa Straw Poll To Bachmann

Look at what has happened to Bachmann since Ames...both her and Perry are on the slide at Sea World on their ways down into the political drink...everyone is just waiting for the splash.

Remember how Perry, "upstaged," Ames by announcing his candidacy right after Iowa?

Remember how Romney did not participate in the Ames Iowa Straw Poll? WHY did he not participate? He didn't want to rise too soon.

Timing is everything in politics.

Do the results of the Ames Iowa Straw Poll still matter?

Yes...because the people of Iowa will remember how their home state girl won by the skin of her teeth.

Iowans will also remember how Mitt Romney said he wasn't going to participate in the poll, but DID participate in the debate.

Romney should be named after the famous dolphin, "Flipper."

Imagine a campaign video of Romney's Greatest "Flipper," Moments. Abortion, Obamacare, TARP...squeeel!!!

brilliantly stupid

Bachman's decline had nothing to do with winning the straw poll and everything to do with her being a dreadful candidate who exaggerates and often claims as fact what is not.

And if you are suggesting that RP and his supporters should somehow throw this in the face of Iowan's you are a fool. Yes, great way to get votes, call them stupid for voting for her.

If Bachman is dead, leave her dead. Just as RP should completely and totally ignore Sanatorium in the debates. NEVER punch down.

Bachmann's Floundering Can Damage the Tea Party

It’s time for Michele Bachmann to go.

For the last two years, I’ve been cautioning about the dangers of individuals or organizations trying to present themselves as leaders of the Tea Party movement. An individual personality or organization purporting to be a “leader” of what is truly a grassroots movement can hurt the tea party brand by creating false impressions about its core beliefs. Bachmann, the leader of the so-called tea party caucus in the House and the most vocal about her affiliation with the Tea Party than any other Presidential candidate, has consistently presented herself as a champion of the movement and its values. Bachmann has ridden her tea party credentials from obscurity to a national platform like no other...

Here's Romney's flip-flops

Here's Romney's flip-flops all congregated in one place: http://www.whichmitt.com/which-mitt-cheatsheet

Granted, it's a DNC site, but still...

A great resource

Thanks for that link. I'll be sure to use it on my mom, who for some odd reason, liked Flip Romney. She likes Ron Paul too but "he can't win" UUUGGGHHH!!!!

“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.” William Pitt

Try this on your Mom:

"He's won 24 elections already (12 primary and 12 general), most times by a landslide - he wouldn't be in office today if he "couldn't win" - agreed?"

Note: I haven't had the chance to research this fully, but I think he may have won more elections than all of his current primary opponents.

Or, if your mom likes snarky humor, you could ask "who told her to say that?".

The only candidate about whom that is routinely said is the good Dr. because it has been planted in peoples' heads by the media - and they don't even realize it's been done to them.

If you can get her to really think about what makes her say that, the awakening may begin. I can also tell you that from my experience - folks over 60-65 are highly programmed if they watch much TV.

ah mitt

so i noticed that the democrats put this site up -it's well done.

i hope some one does something similar for obama.

"home state girl"

Bachmann is from Minnesota, not Iowa.

Okay, just checked and saw she was born in Iowa, but lived in Minnesota since 13. Nevermind.

This is an excellent observation.
