God's Prescription

Anybody who is capable of discovering truth for themselves instead of simply believing what their masters tell them..should be capable of deducing fact from fiction. To all..alcohol and tobacco heal nothing - bottom line - they both cause disease and kill. To some..Cannabis / Sativa / Marijuana is the only effective alternative to complete dependency on inorganic pharmaceutical chemicals. Indeed for many, Marijuana is not a viable option - not everybody is compatible with the effects..but for others it is the only option. I'm sure that many of you are aware that the human body has an endocrine system, but how many are aware that God also gave us an endocannabinoid system..look it up - http://alcalc.oxfordjournals.org/content/40/1/2.full?sid=3af... - "The endogenous cannabinoid system is an ubiquitous lipid signaling system that appeared early in evolution and which has important regulatory functions throughout the body in all vertebrates." "Physiological roles played by the endocannabinoids...have opened up new strategies in the treatment of pain, obesity, neurological diseases including multiple sclerosis, emotional disturbances such as anxiety and other psychiatric disorders including drug addiction."

You want to cut deficit, create jobs and put many people back to work..decriminalize - stop the never-ending war on drugs & stop letting would-be employers run credit checks and perform pre-employment drug screens. These are invasive, unconstitutional and discriminatory actions that create an insurmountable hurdle to many hard working and productive individuals. The foundation of this prohibition is derived only from hatred, ignorance, intolerance and greed..bias, prejudice and discrimination - all in an effort to judge many by the actions of a few. According to our great Constitution and Bill of Rights, justice cannot prevail in any case where presumptive evidence is permitted to hold more weight than facts. This notion does not apply only to defendants in a courtroom. It applies to all citizens that they should not be presumed guilty of a crime before proven innocent. I found the truth for myself over a decade ago..but I see the fight coming to me and I WILL defend myself with all that is necessary.

Please - somebody tell me, and any others who might be concerned about the subject..what will Dr. Paul do as President to put an end to this senseless, heartless, gutless - deceitful prohibition that has been running wild and terrorizing the lives of otherwise law abiding citizens of this country? Also, how will ending this prohibition on a national scale affect the citizens that live in Dr. Pauls home state and all similarly intolerant states?

Only love will overcome hate.

Anything Ph Level 6.9 and Below Will Eventually Destroy You

Anything Ph 7.0 or above and you get to live.

Anything man makes (like the carrot, corn, tomato) is below 7.0 Ph because it does not have a natural structure. Alkaline is the prescription from God.

Before you comment on my comment, research: Dr. Sebi

Ghengis Khan

Man made carrots? Are those

Man made carrots? Are those patented?

If you walk blindly through life, you will run into a lot of walls.

worth repeating: bias and dogma

"The federal government's official policy is that marijuana has no medical benefit," but the government is unwilling to put its policy to the test of current day science:

"Instead, the government exercises monopoly control over the nation's supply of marijuana that may be used for scientific purposes, by allowing an agency whose mission is to explore the consequences of the abuse of marijuana--the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)--to determine what research may go forward regarding marijuana's beneficial medical uses. The result is that [...] marijuana alone out of all potential medicines is subject to a special and obstructive process that places politics over science."

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

her name was..Liberty.

US Patent #6,630,507

How many people are aware that the usgov owns the patent to all synthetic and organic uses of cannabis?

Freedom is what drives the arts. And from art comes the strongest form of rebellion of all: creativity. Stifle freedom and you stifle all desire to change.

Any person who believes that they own and control their own mind, body and soul should be outraged! Open the box and remove yourself.

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

You Asked....

...what would Ron Paul do about the issues you stated. You see, Ron Paul is an advocate for the protection of Individual and Property Rights, something that NO Candidate for President of the USA has embraced so far. Yes, some came close but nothing like Ron Paul. Individual and Property Right are and has always been a corner stone of our founding fathers and they highlighted them in the US Constitution.

Ron Paul has made is very, very clear that his INTENT is to turn the whole affair over to the States and REMOVE the usurpeded authority of the Federal Government which has no legal right to tell citizens what they can or cannot do POT.

Incidentally, your message is highly moving and very well presented here. Thank you so much.

"All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death. Life is a dream and we are the imaginations of ourselves. "

Bill Hicks

You said "stop letting

You said "stop letting would-be employers run credit checks and perform pre-employment drug screens". I see nothing wrong with that. If I own a business and want to hire someone I don't think there is anything wrong with asking would be employees for a credit check or a drug screen. Does the person have to do it? No they don't, and I don't have to hire them either. I own the business and I should be able to employee the type of people that I want to employee. If a person doesn't want to have a credit check or a drug screen then they can apply to a company that doesn't ask for those things.

ignorance is STRENGTH

glt, you sound very confident in your answer - however, what you just said is the very definition of discrimination and ignorance..you presume that everybody is guilty and that they must prove their innocence to you. That attitude is a large part of the reason this country is so hopelessly doomed. You have obviously never walked a step in any shoes but your own. Keep talking..your words will soon contradict your beliefs. But..then again..perhaps you're right. Maybe we should just continue to burn our meaningless constitution and bill of rights, our founders must have been out of their minds!!

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

If a person comes to me to be

If a person comes to me to be hired it is my prerogative to ask them for a drug screening, credit rating, what they ate for breakfast or any other question I might have. They don't have to apply at my place of business. How is my belief against the bill of rights or the Constitution?

Sadly, many have not been educated and believe that property rights don't exist and all we have to do is say the dreaded word discrimination.

why are you here if you don't believe in Liberty?

Must be that your soul is searching for what your mind has not yet discovered. Liberty doesn't belong to corporations or companies (employers) it belongs to individuals (people). You said "I own the business and I should be able to employee the type of people that I want to employee." I think the word you were looking for is employ..but, how far do you take that statement. What if you don't "feel" like employing mexicans, or asians, or muslims, or buddhists?

It is nobody else's business what another person does in the privacy of their own house. A person applying for a job does not give probable cause to presume that person guilty of a crime, and a drug screen is absolutely unreasonable. Credit checks are presumptive as well, as they only tell a small piece of the whole story.

4th amendment: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon PROBABLE CAUSE, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

1st amendment is not only about speech, it is about religion and the right to peacefully protest.."Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

"No law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The 1st amendment does not only apply to POP-religion. It is any free person's right to practice whichever religion they choose. It is unconstitutional to discriminate against a person on the basis of their religion. If a person's religion tells them not to consume man made non-organic chemical drugs, but instead to consume what nature provides..1)it is nobody else's business and 2)no employer has the right to exclude (discriminate against) that person on the basis of their religious beliefs.

All educations are not equal & education absolutely does not equal intelligence. It is sad that so many people are in such bad shape financially that they are willing (or forced) to give up essential liberty for a little temporary safety.

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

I believe a person has all

I believe a person has all the right to do whatever they want to as long it doesn't interfere with the rights of another person. I also believe that I have the right to hire whomever I want to hire. If I don't like their shoe size, color of their skin, type of car they drive, or religion then I don‘t have to hire you. If you don‘t want a drug screening or credit check you don‘t have to apply at my company. I am not forcing you to do anything you don’t want to do. That is how freedom works. When I request a drug screening from a potential employee I am not presuming that person is "guilty of a crime." I just want to guarantee that the person driving one of my trucks is in no way impaired. The 4th and 1st amendment do not have anything to do with this.
You asked,"Why are you here if you don't believe in liberty" well I do believe in liberty. I think that it is you that doesn't quite understand it yet.

no problem, i will not interfere with your right to ignore facts

You do realize that you just said, "as long it doesn't interfere with the rights of another person." You believe what you want to believe. But your words take into consideration no rights but your own, and show a clear misunderstanding of the law..And if you actually believe that you have the right to not hire somebody based on the criteria you just outlined, wow. Shoe size..possibly (idiot)..type of car..maybe (same)..but color of their skin or religion..good luck in court. Your concept of freedom is extremely shallow. That is not how freedom works, that is how freedom and liberty are destroyed. Not hiring a person based on the color of their skin or their religion absolutely interferes with the rights of other people.
Do you really believe that requiring an unwarranted drug screen presumes innocence? Or that it can actually guarantee that your employee is not (or wont be in the future) in any way impaired? Do you honestly not realize that some people are impaired even without the use of drugs? What you ought to do is drug screen at the beginning and end of every day, maybe even at lunch time, and make sure you keep a close eye on the cup at all times.

For your aid:
Liberty briefly defined - Liberty is a moral and political principle, or Right, that identifies the condition in which human beings are able to govern themselves, to behave according to their own free will, and take responsibility for their actions. Freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc.; power or right of doing, thinking, speaking, etc., according to choice. True liberty actually grants individuals the right to define the word according to their own beliefs..so you are entitled to whatever definition you prefer. Politicians that share the beliefs that you have outlined here will soon be exposed and run out of office, and this false ideology will be toppled. The status quo is not a sustainable option. Enjoy the revolution.

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

How in the world does "Not

How in the world does "Not hiring a person based on the color of their skin or their religion" interfere with their rights? What right do they have to work at my place of business? Did their intellect or work create it, pay for it, absolutely not. They have NO rights to my business. I do not have to hire them for any reason even if my reason is ridiculous. As Ron Paul has said many times before there will be inequities in a free society. What you are espousing is socialism not liberty.

Federal Laws Prohibiting Job Discrimination..

are you kidding?
* Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin;
* the Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA), which protects men and women who perform substantially equal work in the same establishment from sex-based wage discrimination;
* the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), which protects individuals who are 40 years of age or older;
* Title I and Title V of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended (ADA), which prohibit employment discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities in the private sector, and in state and local governments;
* Sections 501 and 505 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities who work in the federal government;
* Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 (GINA), which prohibits employment discrimination based on genetic information about an applicant, employee, or former employee; and
* the Civil Rights Act of 1991, which, among other things, provides monetary damages in cases of intentional employment discrimination.

Like I said, good luck with those arguments in court.

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

Federal law also outlaws

Federal law also outlaws several drugs. Does that make it right? No. There are things in the government that aren't constitutional and the civil rights act is one of them. If our country followed the Constitution this would have never been past.

one day you will be standing at the gates with the other ignorants, begging for mercy, and the response will be "my son, you had no respect for my other children. What is it that makes you feel that you deserve our respect?" You will respond with, father please have compassion. But He will sigh and turn His shoulder, just as you have. With his back turned - He will then say, "compassion..you have a lot to learn." Would you like to try again?

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

I think you and I may be

I think you and I may be discussing two different things. The point I was trying to make but evidently failed to do, is a person has a right to their property (business). No one else has a right to their property. They can allow who they want to work on their property or business. Now I am in no way advocating not hiring someone that is of another race, someone handicapped, etc. BUT it should be left up to the individual whose property it is. The business owner may be racist but it is his property. You can’t legislate morality.

Suggesting that God will bar me from heaven for believing in property rights is ludicrous.

"The Civil Rights Act of 1964

"The Civil Rights Act of 1964 not only violated the Constitution and reduced individual liberty, it also failed to achieve its stated goals of promoting racial harmony and a color-blind society." Ron Paul.

sounds familiar

just like the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937, or the Controlled Substances Act of 1970, or the overall war on drugs which have all violated the Constitution, reduced individual liberty and failed to achieve their stated goals. You clearly missed the point again. My point was, the way the law is currently written, you would be in violation by not hiring a person based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Which you stated you had every right to do.

Don't quote Ron Paul and then turn your back on the ideals which his quote represents.

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

How am I turning my back on

How am I turning my back on the ideals of Ron Paul? That is very puzzling since he is a GREAT defender of property rights. I am sure if you polled most people on this site there would be very few that would believe what you are saying.

>property rights<

I am not, in any way, advocating that anybody deprive you of your property. Just don't assume because somebody uses medicine in privacy, outside of the workplace, that they are automatically going to cause damage to your property. Presumptions are what turn free thinking people into ignorant zombies. The effects of alcohol have been proven to be much more of a danger than what I am advocating. So what would be the problem with going back to the time when alcohol consumption was prohibited?

By the way..property rights are granted by government and can be easily taken away. Individual rights and free will are granted by God, and any person who impedes on another's free will will burn. The most valuable thing you own is the rights to your own body, mind and soul. You think that the value of anything a person owns is more valuable than another persons life? You think government owns, or should have the right to regulate a persons body, mind and soul? You think that your so called property rights trump another individuals rights to life and liberty?

You cant legislate morality? Thats exactly what prohibition attempts to do. As I said early on, you have clearly never walked a step in any shoes but your own. The pain will find you eventually - great suffering will follow. I hope compassion eventually finds you.

Should our dreams be constrained by our fear of intolerance?

Please do not put words into

Please do not put words into my mouth. I have not said or ever will say that "a government owns, or should have the right to regulate a persons body, mind and soul." You sure makes some leaps and ridiculous assumptions.

Keep studying someday it will begin to click for you. Peace out.

many paths lead to the same conclusion

No leaps, I am not putting words in your mouth - you have made your position clear. You said you believe that businesses should have the right to impede personal liberty. Government is who allows businesses to run credit checks and perform drug screens. Without government intervention, this would not happen. A drug screen is a clear attempt to regulate a persons mind, body and soul. You say you agree that businesses should have the right to drug screen with no probable cause..government is the agent which allows businesses to do this..therefore it is your belief that government has the right to regulate like I said. No leap.

Everybody needs to keep studying...The pool of knowledge is infinite.
