nypd will sue Occupiers due to violence in Oakland (police nearly killed a Marine Vet there!)

“In light of the growing violence attendant to the 'Occupy' movements across the country, particularly as evidenced by the recent events in Oakland, I am compelled to place these so-called 'occupiers' on notice that physical assaults on police officers will not be tolerated," he said.

He continues:
"In response, I have instructed the SBA’s attorneys to pursue the harshest possible civil sanctions -- including monetary damages -- against any individual protester who causes injury to my members. Protesters are not immunized from civil liability merely because their victims are wearing the uniform of the New York City Police Department."

Got that? The police in Oakland nearly killed and Iraqi Veteran, Marine Scott Olsen. Now the NYPD is going to sue OWS protesters because of the violence inflicted BY the police in California.

I understand having Ron Paul as your first and foremost goal, but I do ask you to please make room in your heart to stand with the people in the streets waving signs that often say things you might say.

The "violence in the streets" that AJ and Celente have long predicted is here. The police will mow people down one by one, and then in larger and larger masses, unless we all stand together IN PEACE and FOR PEACE. How could anything be more "Ron Paul" than that?

Thanks -

thank you for posting as we are all the 99% and need to pay attention and voice our concerns when we see wrongs in this world. I look through the facebook pages of two occupy wallstreet groups daily and they are not exactly happy with organized liberal views trying to take over this movement there is more that meets the eye in t.v. coverage or mainstream print media. My prayers go out to this young veteran for peace and I understand from comments about him he was being a buffer between the crowd and police as tensions were rising waving his veterans for peace flag. May we all have the sense to seek the truth.

The rapidly escalating you tube postings of epidemic police brutality sweeping the nation has let the cat out of the bag, the public now know's without a doubt what brutal thugs they really are and who they really work for which certainly isn't your average citizen ... law enforcement is furious they have been exposed!

Spot on.

Mowing people down will be the final straw, Im convinced. I hold out hope that Ron can get into the snakes den and change the direction of this country. I'm optimistic but, prepared for the worse. The PTB seems to have no idea what the wrath of hungry, fed up people can do to their utopia and will wonder why we didn't obey as they are swinging in the wind.

Thanks for voting down "Peace"

and not leaving a comment to show exactly who it is that thinks standing up for peace is a "thumbs down" situation...
I wish peace upon you most of all, since I know how badly it will irritate you... lol!
