It's Time For A MegaMoneyBomb!!!

Most people who have donated to the last two moneybombs are nowhere near maxing out yet. So I suggest picking a day, somewhere in the middle of January, and call it a MegaMoneyBomb!! Our goal: 30,000 pledges of $500 and up. For those who can't come up with $500, not a big deal, just donate what you can on that day. How about it? » |

Jan. 14th 1784 = Revolutionary War officially ends, Congress ratifies Treaty of Paris This begs for a slogan good slogan.
Jan. 16th 1920 = Prohibition goes into effect
Jan. 17th = birth of Ben Franklin
Jan. 26th 1871 = U.S. income tax repealed. Just for the first time?

We need a co-ordinate effort
We need a co-ordinate effort where we all donate in the span of say, 1 or 2 hours, so that we blow the ever-loving doors off of the other candidates AND the main stream media.
How would "15 million in 1 hour!" sound as Stephanopolufugus and Wolf Blitzer chokes on some crow-pie?
Personally, I think that's the money-nuke winner of a plan in my opinion.

January 17th
The idea of having a money bomb on the birthday of Benjamin Franklin January 17th is being thrown around right now.
Sounds great to me!!!
This will be after IA and NH and by then RP should be well recognized as a tier 1. We should be able to have our base widened by a fair bit so it should be feasible to get the needed funds to spread the word to 20 states in February as needed by the Campaign.
This is another last minute trick so the ones taking money from interest groups force the others out but we're not going anywhere except to win this!

This campaign is not about money. Its about changing the minds of your fellow americans. Its about the message! I feel like this is a troll.
We already hold the top earning day. The initial goal for the last money bomb was 100,000 pledges for $100.00. it ended with about 30k pledges. and now your asking for 30,000 pledges of $500.00? T
Simply having more money doesn't make you the winner! The message is what brought us here, and the message is what will gain new supporters. And the best way to get the message out is talking to everyone you know. People are far more influenced by their friends and family then a TV commercial or flier in the mail.

the last money day on the 16th of December had roughly 30k pledges on the official web page at www.teaparty07.com. The goal was to have 100,000 pledges for $100.00. This is fact.
you make the accusation that my numbers are wrong but give no legitimate reason why, and provide no viable proof otherwise. i happily was one of those people who pledged, and donated on the 16th. i sat, like many people here, and watched the number of pledges and dollars go up.
I must say, I don't appreciate someone calling me a liar.

I like the idea... but heres
I like the idea... but heres what i fear.
everyone wants a part in coordinating it. there fore theres a 'money bomb' website on every other day of january. and they all flop. Its already happening i believe, there are some events being planned that i fear are going to compete with each other too much in too short a time period, and its going to be a destructive process. we'd need either A. some small group to come up with a knock-it-out-of-the-park website to coordinate one that blows the others away, or B. some large conglomerate date decision that is decided by more than just 3 people in some corner of the internet.
Or we Could Call It The Max Out MoneyBomb!!!
