Excellent interviews!

Bump!

I enjoy these interviews but

My worry is that the format of these interviews is not such that they will maintain the non-supporter's attention. It's good that Paul has time to explain his positions, but I think there's too much time as not a lot of people will keep paying attention without some dialogue & shorter answers.

Not a huge deal, but I wish the station owner was more aware of this & was more involved.

Just my 2 cents

Opposite Reaction

The four mile wide and a quarter inch deep comment said it all. Any non-supporter hearing this would understand that Ron Paul is deep. I can't imagine the other candidates would do nearly as well.

Besides, Dr. Paul doesn't pause to let him get a word in edgewise. ;) At least he had the sense to listen and appreciate.

They're also meant for for a more rural area. I've never been to Nevada but you take away their tourist cities and what do you have left? A big desert.

I think this is a good interview for the people of Nevada. These types of interviews would also do well in places like NH which is another rural state.

Things are a little slower in these places (The pace of life that is). With cable/sat broadcasting and those of us living in cities we've become too accustomed to snappy answers to stupid questions. WE're so uncivilized in the city we won't let someone finish what they're say or give a closing statement because we're on a schedule with a very tight window. That's not life. While timing can be everything in some situations when it comes to electing a "Real President" rather than a corporate proxy, we need to be damn sure we know who we're getting. Having a candidate talk without anyone holding his hand or holding up a teleprompter is telling. You're going to find out pretty quickly how serious, knowledgeable they are.

Just because the interviewer came out and said he like Ron Paul unlike fauxnews who generally comes out and says "I hate you, get ready to be grilled unnecessarily" doesn't discredit the format or the sincerity of the candidate. What Paul is warning about is dead serious. I don't think most people know how so.

interviews were 6 mins to little over 8 mins

each and spread out over 5 days. Surely, one can focus for that time and not be a Ron Paul supporter.

need to correct post title...

I'm guessing I can't edit the title now since it's frontpaged but it should be 27 not 28. Should read:
(part 4) 10/28/'11
