Video: Nashua Telegraph Editorial Board Interviews Ron Paul - 10/28

This is an excellent interview where Ron is provided with plenty of time to provide answers to questions. Especially interesting is that he talks seriously about the potential coming dollar collapse, why we should not pay the federal reserve the 1.7 trillion dollars it says is owed by the American people and much more. Enjoy!

I hope he does shut the doors on the fed.. Then when we have a new currency we can pay off the 1.7 trill they say we owe with their own worthless paper.. They can play monopoly or something lol..

Wow

Raise the volume!!!!

The volume is way too low for this. Needs a limiter applied to it :/

Energy - the elephant in the room - what wasn't mentioned in it.

Decent interview.

One thing that has changed in the Paul campaign with regards to energy (the motivational elephant in the room for geo-political monopolistic rule, imo, and one of the few reasons the USD still survives) - is energy. Many people understand that for countries around the world to purchase oil - they must purchase US dollars first. Hence - the motivation for oil control in the Middle east - a monopoly to keep the status quo going - at least until a world government takes it over with a new currency.

World government cannot be achieved without control of resources. World currency cannot be achieved unless that entity controls the resources - I believe this is the end game - they want the US Republic to completely die and it's power be transfered to the UN and various world banking operations connected to it - who will control the resources and issue the currency.

I understand and agree with Paul's position on letting the market decide which energy is the best without central economic planning and to let the market at the domestic level decide (domestic meaning US state level) but...

But it would have been nice if he had, as in the past, mentioned Hemp. Or at least Industrial Hemp. Natural gas, if not given an outright plug - was favorably mentioned. At between 1800-2600 gallons of ethanol per acre of land - on arid, non food grade soil for that matter - hemp or switch grass alone could provide for a majority - if not all of the US's transport energy needs. Many unnecessary costs (wars, pipelines, cross oceanic transport, domestic transport, drilling and oilspills)...not to mention the terrorist threat connected to occupation of foreign land - could be eliminated - through Hemp at the local level.

I'm not a one issue supporter - but I found it a little disappointing that it wasn't mentioned as it had been in the past.

I don't know anything about suits,

I don't know anything about suits, but I think Ron read all those posts, because that one looks good!

erasing debt to federal reserve

this is a concept that will blow people's minds, and he needs to bring it up every chance he gets

You only want to erase the

You only want to erase the Fed held debt if we legalize gold and silver. Otherwise, the federal government will just keep erasing the debt every election cycle but continue with inflation and printing money.

Fox News Reports Herman Cain Wins Alabama Straw Poll, Paul 2nd

Herman Cain is the current leader in many national polls, including the latest Fox News GOP presidential poll. And he won the Western Alabama straw poll. He got 50.7 percent of the vote, followed by Ron Paul at 45.3 percent. The other candidates split the other 4 percent of the vote.

** Note ** Oh, and by the way, I want to report two thing here: 1) Fox News TV did not reveal Ron Paul finished 2nd with 45.3% of the vote and 2) FOX NEWS didn't mention that Ron Paul crushed the other candidates today at The Polk County Iowa Straw Poll today...Hummm

By the time the primary reaches the state of Alabama, the race will be over. Despite the fake poll numbers Paul is winning in Iowa..Fox, in my opinion, is lying about the real front runners to determine the winner for the GOP..You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that Romney and Cain are dissing Iowa because it is a lost cause. They will not finish in the top 3 in Iowa and you could take that to the bank..

Fox is just scum

What else are they? They're scum.

Dr. Paul keeps on talking

Dr. Paul keeps on talking about the government living off inflation. Is this message getting across to the average person? I think most see it as a normal naturally occurring feature of a capitalist economy (I say most since that is what I assumed - not even thinking about it).

I think Dr. Paul and us need to separate out this issue and stress what inflation really is, instead of making a fly by remark. This only caught my attention this time because the Nashua article summarizing the interview brought that up.

Any comments?

BASE RECORDED VOLUME needs to be turned UP

We've turned up our volume on our MacBook Air, and our Dell PC 17" and the volume is STILL not high enough.

If there is something we can do about it, please do so. Thnx.

Are you talking about the

Are you talking about the file i edited? On my PC I actually have to lower volume with this new file.

not the best

It was great he had free reign to answer, however, I did not see this as an overly strong performance. The iowa state University speech a week or so ago was really good in my opinion. This was more scattered and not quite as tight as he could have or would liked to have been. Still great that he was able to express monetary policy more specifically and tie that with many other elements of the economy.

Telegraph Format Ideal

Telegraph Editorial should continue this kind of format to interview presidential candidates. I feel that they have covered all topics and RP has answered all the questions honestly and thoroughly. I will not be surprised if most of the so called GOP top tiered will want to opt out. Its kinda scary when u dont have a script with u and someone to save or interupts u when ur answers are wrong or out of topic or even unfavorable.

"When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty."

I thought the same

Can you even imagine Rick Perry or Herman Cain in this kind of forum where they couldn't pander to applause meters or simply get away with speaking in sound bites? It would be interesting, to say the least...lol.

One of the best yet!

This to me was a very very good interview. Civilized to say the least, a real conversation with real answers. If this could be broadcast on national TV, the American people would in my opinion, hear and see something that they have been missing, and truly erupt from their Cognitive Dissonance.

Ron Paul was at his best in this interview because he was not being attacked thru the interview questions and process. It was fair, balanced, and Ron was given sufficient time to answer the question throughly. Would it not be wonderful if the Republican debates had some of this civility, intelligence, and truth be spoken.

There is no other candidate that could match what Ron Paul said in this interview to address America's problems. Hearing the truth will set you free, and it is that Freedom that Ron Paul represents for our country that keeps me so hopeful for the future. Seriously, there is not much hope for this Country if we do not elect Ron Paul as our next President.

Again like the other one this

Again like the other one this is a civilized discussion and not a corporate hit piece or set up. Thank you for posting. The black out continues and the prejudice against Paul. Notice how he understands the issues and has the courage to stay with his message and not compromise. Think the media will call Romney or Cain's bluff? Not a chance despite how one is a trained(poorly) puppet and the other a slightly better trained puppet. Trained to lie and distort and have malleable stances on the issues. I wouldn't be surprised to see either Cain, Romney or Gingrich change their legal names like the last schmuck who was elected without merit. NH people need to really check out the other candidates on the issues. Even if this was the 1st time seeing Paul a person has to leave thinking this guy is principled unlike clowns like Romney and Cain.

Paul would cut federal departments, forgive debt

No one can accuse Republican Ron Paul of being an incremental candidate.

When it comes to solutions for the nation’s ills, the 76-year-old Texas congressman thinks big, whether it’s slashing the federal budget, bringing American troops home from foreign wars or eliminating the Federal Reserve
