of too many 'chiefs and not enough indians'. I have heard some of these guys before. They are way, way, too late to the party. Silence is consent 'boys'. The private sector jobs are not coming back in your careers and there are not enough worker 'bees' to support both your bureaucratic lifestyles and pensions and those of the federal agencies. If you jumped in 10 years ago you could of made a difference for the future of your families and friends. You reap what you sow. I suggest you resign and commit your efforts 100 per cent like Sheriff Mack if you really want to make a difference. Until then you will have to give up the pedicures and pick up hammers and saws. I know it is not fair ;)

The sheriff holds the most power next to the President. We need many more sheriffs like these. The sheriff can tell the FEDs to get lost. We have to have Constitution supporting Sheriffs.

You are correct. Unfortunately, many have taken federal funds which most likely negates any freedom of independent action. Most likely these guys too because their close association with all the new agencies set up 10 years ago.

Although (and it is my understanding, because of a well deserve vacation with his wife) Josephine County Oregon Sheriff Gil Gilbertson was not in attendance with these other fine men and woman, he has been one of the leading spokes persons against these property rights assaults by Fed agencies in Southern Oregon. Yes! The clusters (counties) are coming together and growing!

Just west of Josephine is Curry Co. and just North of Curry is Coos County. These counties have a lot of like-minded people within and without their local govs. Don't forget Sheriff Palmer of Grant Co. (north east Or.) is already on board too. These OR. counties also merge, or butt up to, the No Calif. counties that are in agreement, strengthening the support.

I'm sure this is the start of the vitally important vision held by Sheriff Mack.

Please, let’s work to keep the dream alive! I know things aren’t perfect for a lot of people here, but please keep in mind this is a new concept for some of these guys and like all of us to recognize that it takes a little time to learn this stuff and we're all in various stages of learning.

I am sure many of them ARE READING this thread. I think if we can get them to see some videos on hemp, and allowing for a little time for the stories to sink in, some probably would reconsider and start working to LEGALLY grow it.

As I said before on this post, that most of these guys “are reasonable and will talk with you" if they have the time. They can turn out to be your best friends and will play a big part in our country’s defense, IF YOU’LL WORK WITH THEM AND GIVE THEM THE CHANCE.

Please tell them your feelings and what you already KNOW about hemp. Please give links to the best, most accurate videos you know of dispelling the myths and showing the truth. The counties that these sheriffs represent are in desparate times and need more work/farming/income. Show them that hemp will give them that BEYOND THEY'RE WILDEST DREAMS!

For some talking points:

Hemp is a multi-billion dollar industry for the U.S. and we already LEGALLY import it NOW.
Hemp creates jobs.
Hemp has great medicinal/healing properties.
Hemp one of the best food sources available.
Hemp makes great, inexpensive building materials.
Hemp is good for the soil.
Hemp makes great clothing.
Hemp uses less water to grow.
Hemp makes oils/fuels
Hemp grows very fast enableing a quick reharvest.
Hemp as plastics.
Hemp as car parts.
Hemp as vitamin source.
Hemp grows just about anywhere.
Hemp etc, etc, etc……

PLEASE people, if you don’t even give this a chance, then YOU’RE BLOWIN IT! Let's come together on this, we need each other!

I'm sure my definition of tyranny is quite a bit different than these sheriffs version. I'm pretty sure all these sheriffs happily sh_t on the Constitution to enhance their own power. Hey cop where in the Constitution does it say my life liberty or property can be infringed because I grow a plant?

What the heck is a legal grower or distributor?

So they go after illegal growers? WTF is an illegal grower? Growing or selling a plant does not infringe upon any individual's life liberty or property but arresting someone for those things certainly does.

As an individual I can see no other use for police/sheriffs other than to apprehend an individual that has infringed upon another individuals life liberty or property. What other use do they have?
