Nonpartisan group offers US political alternative

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A nonpartisan group said on Wednesday it has gathered millions of signatures, and millions of dollars, from voters so unhappy with the toxic U.S. political climate that they want a centrist independent to run for president in 2012.

So far, Americans Elect has gathered more than 1.9 million signatures in support of its petition to get on the ballot in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and raised almost $22 million.

Perhaps something to pursuit if we do not win the GOP nomination.

When Mitt declares as a third party candidate,...

...perhaps this is the party he will be declaring with?

he'll probably start the

he'll probably start the windsock party. their motto will be "We beleive in whatever you want us to beleive in right at this particular moment. Although we might change our minds."

Nothing but socialists. They don't want "independent" they

want a socialist. (they aren't partisan though, they don't care what party this socialist comes from, but make no mistake, their questions are clear that they want a socialist.)

What good will this do? It is

What good will this do? It is impossible for a third party to get on most ballots because of the laws created by Democrats and Republicans to keep the competition shut out.

And that doesn't even touch the debate subject.

15% ?? right....

Their website claims they

Their website claims they have ballot access in all 50 states. Regardless, I'm not sure if the group is entirely trustworthy, but I thought I'd see what DP users thought.

Then they are out right LIARS. In some states, the process can't

even start till Jan 1st of the election year.

I would bet it's a front for...

...globalist BLOOMBERG (no thanks!!)

Someone already documented that here.

Though they officially deny being shills for Bloomberg (naturally) and he denies any interest in running (of course) he is the money behind it.

This was tried in 2008 under a different name and it failed miserably.

so is this just a scam to

so is this just a scam to capture the energies of disappointed Americans into a false 3rd party candidate?
