Focus on Iowa - What else can we do.

I am appalled at the media blackout of RP this morning on the talk shows. (save C-Span)
Clearly with RP at 8-10 % in Iowa, The media is doing all it can to protect their frat brothers McCain, Thompson and Giuliani.
It would be a great coup to finish well above expectations in Iowa.
My question, Can those of us Around the country do anything to help in Iowa at this point ? I've donated, sent Letters, etc.
But what now ?

Someone else has suggested that we should put full page ads in as many of the newspapers in Iowa as we can, focusing on the smaller markets. I wonder if it is too late to do something like that. Perhaps if it is too late for Iowa, it could be done in New Hampshire, and/or perhaps later states (Nevada, South Carolina, Florida, etc.).

right now in my part of iowa they are trying to identify who are ron paul supporters by calling. if you have cell phone minutes to burn, here is the info sent out by my county chairman:
Phone calling is the most effective way to identify RP supporters. It is, admittedly, boring and not the most exciting adventure, but it is the most effective way to identify RP supporters and relay their contact info to me so I can put them in my data base and make sure they show up and participate in caucus. You can do this from your home, it just requires discipline and dedication to get through the lists. The most productive phone calling times are 6-9pm M-F and 9-9 on Saturdays. Email me with request for numbers and I will send you an Excel attachment with numbers, but we need your help.

I gave 'em a hundred. Have to support the blimp, too, and then the money bomb, also. But we can't let the grass roots efforts dry up.
two suggestions
Thanks for posting a positive action thread! Two suggestions-
1) My wife and I sent 137 three page letters to nutrition stores in Iowa. If someone is a chiropractor, minister, building contractor, or whatever, there is still time to email information to their websites of same in Iowa. Even snail mail mailed from adjacent states mailed on December 31 should arrive on the 2nd or 3rd. Caucuses are in the evening of the 3rd. There are still a lot of undecideds.
There are also phones. Go to the internet yellow pages for needed phone numbers. Street addresses and some email addresses are also found on internet yellow pages.
2) Post on-line comments about Ron Paul in Iowa newspapers. Here is a list of Iowa newspapers http://www.usnpl.com/ianews.php
Note: I have posted in forums three times this morning but have addressed and stuffed 14 RP packets headed to Michigan nutrition stores to compensate for my indolent couch time.
