A woman who filed a sexual harassment complaint against Herman Cain when he was the CEO of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s has broken her silence and released a statement through her attorney, Joel Bennett, saying she acted in good faith at the time and stands by the complaint she made in 1999 in which she alleges a "series of inappropriate behaviors" by Cain. "Everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect in the workplace," her attorney says in the anonymous statement. NRA confirmed that the woman filed a complaint in 1999 and that they reached a settlement "without any admission of liability." Cain disputed the allegations made in the complaint at the time.

I don't think Cains going anywhere.
Unless something major comes out of this, I don't think cain will lose too much support.
Cain is successfully, in my opinion, turning this into a Cain vs the media situation in which Cain is viewed as the victim of evil media bias.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cain gains a bit because of this.
Sure, he's a liar but according to the Cain people, all politicians lie.
If this were the general election, this would be a problem but Republicans only have problems with Democrats that do these kinds of things.

Just means much more free
Just means much more free support from Rush, Hannity, Boortz etc. They have already given him hours of free promotions. As long as no details emerge, this is getting him lots of love from the base. It probably hurts him with everyone else, but right now his donations are up. Just go over to forums on Fox and you will see people commenting that they are donating more than ever to Cain because he is under attack by the liberal media. This is the story that Rush and etc are successfully selling to the base.
Meanwhile this has successfully distracted everyone from his latest policy statements, such as we should prevent China from developing nuclear technology.
