Ron Paul, get out of the occupy movement

*NOTE: I do not agree with Devin's views I am only posting this to point an example of how our presence is being felt at these events across the country. Believe it or not there are many potential primary and caucus voters for Ron Paul at these events. They might not even agree with Ron Paul on most things but they could be single issue voters who will support him because he is against the drug war and will pardon all nonviolent drug offenders in Federal Prison for example. Obviously not everyone will be receptive to Paul's message as this blog shows, but that is not important because there are many who will be receptive to one or another part of Ron Paul's message.

Ron Paul, get out of the occupy movement

By Devin Wallace

The Occupy movement spread to 951 cities across the globe, has inspired people to take to the streets in a hail of police brutality, and continues to be a driving force in the elevating consciousness of the American people. While the viewpoints of protesters are varied, from tepid moderates to hardened anarchists, there is one element that cannot be allowed to sway the movement: the Cult of Ron Paul.

OWS unemployed want to end all employers?

Misery loves company?

As I’ve said before, the Occupy movement needs to be an anti-capitalist movement. Only then can the Earth be saved from the rampant destruction caused by profit-hungry businesses.

a Ron Paul cult would be naught but zombies, no danger from them.

But rational people questioning the socialist cult, would deflate that bubble.

lol

At least it wasn't a ninja down-vote (one without rebuttal). Don't get me started on those.

Thanks

Cherry picking?

I was just randomly looking on google news and I saw this so I thought I would share so that we could talk some sense into this kid.

I apologize

I assumed you were trying to demonstrate the occupation's beliefs about Ron Paul supporters. I am naturally defensive of this because I believe that our participation can do nothing but help Ron Paul get more votes and help educate those who wish to learn about Liberty.

Again, I'm sorry if you care about my down vote. I'll take it back because I feel like a dick now.

No big deal

I am glad we are participating and trying to get converts because frankly a lot of those people are potential Ron Paul voters. My point was that we are there, and it is irritating the hardcore leftist socialist communists like this kid. I say we keep it up Occupy is a perfect opportunity to engage in a debate with the other side, we obviously won't convert everyone but that is not the point, we don't need everyone to vote for Ron Paul, primaries and caucuses have low turnouts we just need a small committed minority to nominate Ron Paul. Of course once we get to the general election every person we have converted will be a key swing voter leading to a Ron Paul Occupied White House in 2013.
