The Pope and OWS

On [October 24, 2011], the Vatican called for creation of a "global public authority" and a "central world bank" to regulate the world's financial institutions. As Reuters reported, "The document from the Vatican's Justice and Peace department should please the 'Occupy Wall Street' demonstrators and similar movements around the world who have protested against the economic downturn."

The Vatican got very specific in its recommendations. It condemned the "idolatry of the market" and called for global wealth redistribution, asking nations of the world to participate in an "ethic of solidarity." In a passage that could have been ripped from Marx, the Vatican stated, "If no solutions are found to the various problems of injustice, the negative effects that will follow on the social, political and economic level will be destined to create a climate of growing hostility and even violence, and ultimately undermine the very foundation of democratic institutions, even the ones considered most solid."

This is wrongheaded in the extreme. By impoverishing the middle and upper class in order to press for greater "fairness," the socialism implicitly supported by this document pushes a utopia of equality in poverty.

So why is the Vatican so gung ho for a global reserve currency? Skeptics would say that the Vatican opposes the U.S.'s control over the global economy. The Vatican under Pope Benedict XVI has routinely gone out of its way to criticize capitalism as unfair and problematic--in 2009, for example, the Pope issued an encyclical calling for a "profoundly new way" of organizing business, suggesting that a global political authority be established to push for "the common good." This is well within the tradition of modern Popes, who have almost universally endorsed the notion of a super-national government. This is understandable given the universalist mission of the Catholic Church.

I won't even comment or get started....Edit..sorry I lied

Everything that comes from that man, throughout history, has been Anti-Christ. Anyone who considers themselves "Christ's representative on Earth" has got to have issues. Christ said that the Anti-Christ would come before the passing of those within his conversation, and He wasn't kidding. He's been around since the beginning and passed from one generation to another through the reigning popes. This is all spoken of in the Bible...this is a church that sees only the ways of man, rather than the ways of God. Just like their supposed founder "Simon Peter". I would still like to see the Biblical authority for the Pope. The few verses that Catholics regurgitate can easily be thrown back at them if you simply keep reading for about five more verses...but they seem to block that part out.

I know of no one else who rides upon a Scarlett beast and is drunk on the blood of the saints. Everyone assumes that he will come from Israel because of the "seven hills" thing, but what they forget is that Rome is also "the city on seven hills"...and the vatican is already it's own military/religious state. Ok..I promised myself that I wouldn't go into this.

once again...I don't dislike catholics and have many as friends, but I think that the catholic system just like most of the protestant system is deceitful. Any church that puts man made requirements upon your salvation is deceiving you and those around you. They are not there to please God, but to please themselves.

Rant over...sorry.

You are dead on Dale

The woman with a cup is one of the symbols of the Vatican as they drink the wine of their fornication. The well known colors of the Catholic Church are scarlet and purple, once again dead on, and the translation of the word Vatican means Diviner Serpent.'Vatis' = 'profetic' or 'diviner' 'Can' = 'serpent.

Catholicism has always creeped me out

I was raised a strict Catholic. It occurred to me when I was about 12 that I hated the religion; I refused to get confirmed, and have gone to extremes to avoid being couped up in Catholic churches for any length of time.

I really cannot understand why anyone persists in being Catholic. The pope strikes me as ridiculous. Whatever he says, I think we should do the opposite. This is no exception.

No offense intended here, I'm just putting my own truth out there.

Catholicism: Render Unto Caeser

I enjoy Catholicism, it's imperfection being human nature.

"Catholicism of the Catholic Church", excellent book explaining the religion.

It's a magnificent religion really, and why it has succeeded for thousands of years, despite it's human nature.

To me, I find the Church supporting a NWO opportunistic, as the Church has long been The Old World Order/ OWO, ocupying the globe for hundreds of years before America was colonized. The NWO would have people running into the Church for protection from its pro-death agenda.

NWO science claims the Earth can only sustain 500 Million people. Church can agree with the NWO on most issues but that. And that's where we Catholics are in the Church discussing this issue.

Also, one of the things I really LOVE about Catholicism is going to Mass with people from all over the world. There are many things to LOVE about Catholicism. And when you have a good Priest, good Church, man... you have a prayer.

The whole thing is so blatantly obvious that it totally strains credibility of anyone who claims to be in favor of it.

It is such an obvious "operation", that anyone who can't recognize it at this point, is lame.
