Anyone notice popups CNBC kept plastering over Ron Paul?

That's disrespectful to do while he's talking, trying to answer a question.

Dear Bill Griffeth,

I noticed that during your interview of Dr. Paul today, someone at CNBC kept plastering splash screens over Dr. Paul as he was trying to answer your questions.

That's disrespectful to do while he's talking, trying to answer a question. Not only that, but they were simplistically deceptive:

HOW TO FIX THE ECONOMY

CONGRESSMAN PAUL'S TAKE

  • Return to Gold Standard
  • Eliminate Federal Reserve
  • Eliminate Most Federal Regulations

SOURCE: AP.COM

Dr. Paul doesn't support doing any of those. He supports a gradual and voluntary transition away from government intervention and unsound money. He does not support ending or changing things overnight.

Recently he even named who he would appoint to head the Federal Reserve bank - James Grant.

Please show a little more respect to your guests and allow them to answer without the distraction of demagoguery over their face while speaking.

He doesn't expect much unless a new Congress elected.

There were a lot of great candidates in 2008. Ron Paul lost his first Congressional Bid. By the next opportunity, Republicans knew who he was. Republicans aren't looking for quitters.

ooooooh

that's a pretty picture! You rule!

RON PAUL's COME-BACK ANSWER....for the 3rd party crap.

These MEDIA people are SO TRANSPARENT. They pass the same MANTRA around ad nauseum. I would imagine Ron is fed-up with them asking about a 3rd party run.

He BETTER BE PREPARED to respond in as vitriolic way as they dish it out, if they do, at the DEBATE.

He could become a bit indignant & turn it around on them.....and say~~

"How would YOU like it if you were running for President & in a solid 3rd place in most polls, and had won the CALIFORNIA STRAW POLL which was a HUGE WIN, and network after network kept asking YOU about running in a 3rd party? How would it make YOU feel?"

I would definitely turn it around on them!

wow, just WOW...

...unbelievable!!

First, at least the interviewer saved the "independent run" question for second-to-last AND was very apologetic about asking it.

Second, and this is not a B. Hussein Osama "pun" but merely a nod to the on-going dominance by citizens of a certain Nation in the New York Marathon...

All of our (or their) concerns about Doc being "up in years and the campaign is long and grueling??" Wellll... just fuggedaboudit!! Dude looks to me like a Kenyan, just catching his second wind, on about mile five while about to run a 2-hour/10-minute marathon!!

GEEEEEEZUS...

...intro to Ron Paul (coming up after these commercials) is ALL about NOTHING but the THIRD PARTY baloney!!

grrrrrrrr.....

Make them explain why they ask.

Ron Paul is quite different from all the others, which would make it natural that he would be asked, but I think he should make them explain why they ask first.

"Sure, I will answer, but could you first tell me what it is about my campaign that makes you think I would consider running as a third party?"

...

No. That opens the door for the "oh, well you just have such extreme views that aren't accepted by Republican voters but the Libertarian party is begging you to run -- so why won't you run as a Libertarian or as an independent??"

He needs to say that he won't run as an independent, say something about how many years he's been in Congress as a Republican, and also say something about how most people know that the election system in the US is designed for the two party candidates and an independent run would be a huge waste of time unless you were an incredibly wealthy person like Donald Trump.

(replying to self?? ... uh-oh)

C'mon, Ron Paul... stick THAT question RIGHT back in their faces with "why don't you ask my DEFEATED opponent ROMNEY that!!!"
