Ron Paul indeed Out-Foxed (for now)
by Jason George
Fergus Cullen, chairman of the New Hampshire State Republican Committee, confirmed Sunday evening to the Tribune that, yes, there will be a televised Fox News presidential candidate forum on Jan. 6, and yes, Rep. Ron Paul was not invited when the other candidates were a week or so ago.
"My understanding is that five candidates to that point had been offered spots but the event is still coming together," Cullen said.
The candidates invited to the forum/debate – whatever you want to call it – will be Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. John McCain, Gov. Mitt Romney and Sen. Fred Thompson.
Cullen said the event, which is set to take place two days before the New Hampshire primary, will be held in the afternoon or evening at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H. When asked if Fox News, which is co-sponsoring the debate with the NH party, planned to invite Paul later, Cullen said he didn't know.
"It's really premature. Just the other day candidates started to accept invitations."
On Saturday, Paul called Fox News "scared of me." They "don't want my message to get out, but it will," according to The Boston Globe's Primary Source blog.
"They are propagandists for this war and I challenge them on the notion that they are conservative."
On Sunday night, Paul spokesman Jesse Benton said the campaign remains angry, and in the dark.
"We have not heard anything else today," he said. "[Fox] continues to ignore our calls."

i am in favor of the ban....
When Ron Paul places in the top three in Iowa Fox will look like an idiot.....but, in reality they are ONLY delaying on this because they want to see how RP does in Iowa SO THEY CAN BASE THEIR DECISION off of how he does.......if he doesnt place in the top 3 or 4 they are going to exclude him, part of their strategy to try to undercut any momentum and try to cause a poor showing in New Hampshire......if he does place highly they'll let him in and probably give him horrible questions and little time to talk....
all we can do at this point is make sure he does well in Iowa, and then he will be invited
They are dumb like foxes in
They are dumb like foxes in the way that they are getting over run with the scare tactic they use. Relying on subliminal mind control only goes so far and people reject fake anti depressants and depression sleep inducers and the merck recalls. They are holding the fort for now and mention DH less then Ron Paul so they are up to something and its most likely redundant and the censorship will be what turns this election.
Fox News Has New Blog Site - Flood it with Ron Paul
My Yahoo page that displays Fox News Headlines just displayed "New Section: You Decide 2008" which is a Blog section.
We need to get over there and flood it with Ron Paul. I was on the Fred Thompson article and I didn't see any about Ron Paul until I added the article. Do a little Fox News bashing while you're there too.

I'm not even going to give it traffic.

I think we should contact other networks (maybe even BBC). I am sure some of the competing media would love to do a story on FOX not inviting a major candidate.
F%^K Farah, I was red hot
F%^K Farah,
I was red hot pissed when I read the piece that WND Editor Joseph Farah wrote today concerning this Faux news forum debacle. He made it sound like we were all paranoid fruitcakes. Question is what kind of journalist writes about ANYTHING without checking the facts first. Apparently, all someone would have to do to confirm or deny the story would be to contact Cullen. I believe WND needs a dose of our e-mail wrath. Maybe they would print a retraction like the NY Times did. I think a formal apology is in order also. F#%k Farah
Let Fox dig there grave
Just ignore Fox. Think how ridiculous it will look when Ron Paul places in the top three in Iowa and then wins NH. If Fox doesn't include him in this debate/interview then it will be to their own demise. It will be clear to the even the most ignorant where they stand and how biased they are.
Go Ron Paul!
Cable TV
I am just as involved in this as anyone but I have never had paid TV.
FOX news is part of a media that a small but good # of subscribers. Why not set a date to just cancel your Direct TV or cable? You dont need it.
My Comcast Submission
Mr. Germano,
I have been a Comcast Cable Television & Internet Customer since 1998. I will be ending this decade long relationship in early January due to your support of and association with the Fox News Organization. They are sponsoring a Republican Presidential Debate on January the 6th and have decided to exclude Dr. Ron Paul from participating. This decision is a direct attack on the democratic process. America needs Americans to hear Dr. Ron Paul communicate his ideas in all of the debates, period.
If you are not familiar with Ron Paul and want a better understanding of why I can no longer do business with your company because of their association with Fox News then I respectfully ask you to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIivoqLbeeg
I appreciate the good service you have provided for me and my family for all of these years.
Good Job!
I really like your letter. I haven't had cable for years otherwise I would do the same.
