ABC News Top of Front Page: Bachmann, Paul Call (CBS News) Debate Moderators 'Disgraceful'

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Fireworks were few and far between at the GOP’s foreign policy debate tonight, but if any issue provoked the ire of some candidates it was not each other but rather how CBS News’ moderator Scott Pelley ran the event.

Numerous candidates from Rep. Michele Bachmann to Rep. Ron Paul complained about unfair treatment from the network, arguing that rival campaigns had received far more attention during the debate. The Bachmann campaign went so far as to release an email that they said spokeswoman Alice Stewart had “inadvertently received” from CBS earlier in the day.

In the email string, CBS News’ political analyst John Dickerson said that Bachmann was “not going to get many questions during the debate and she’s nearly off the charts,” a reference to the Minnesota congresswoman’s low standing in the polls.

Fun Debate Idea

Moderators: Clint Eastwood, Jesse Ventura, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Format could include asking the same relevant questions to Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. Give them 5 minutes or so to answer. Even if it is only on the Internet A LOT of people would tune in to watch that one. Can you imagine!!

This is what I posted:

CBS hasn't heard the last of it from the Ron Paul people.
Last week they trashed all of Bill O'Reilly's books on Amazon & more, after he censored them from his poll (that he won).
A local news radio host in Reno Nevada was let go this week after he trashed Ron Paul.

Watch out CBS, you are in the Ron Paul crosshairs. Thousands are people are out for you & your sponsors. We will not buy anything from any of them & we'll write letters!

War with Iran poll

I didn't know where to put this but I thought it would be good for us to vote on.

what really has Bachmann apoplectic over this is the thought that she lost the opportunity to "out innocent blood-lust" her fellow innocent blood-lusters since this is clearly what the entire GOP field (save one) has allowed itself to be reduced to.

Bachmann simply didn't get the time she wanted to show viewers/listeners why she believes she would be supremely ready, willing and able to murder better than her competitors on the stage.

What's worse is that she claims to be a devout Christian!

Sad. Very, very sad......and creepy too.

God help us all....

Hey, she's an

ex-IRS prosecuting attorney.

Behind that Barbie exterior is a vicious monster of the most abominable description. She made a pact with the devil long ago. She's the spawn of Satan!

Here is what this article is for.

First the moderators had served in the military. So they are lieing and saying that Ron Paul called the moderators disgraceful to make him look like he is attacking the military. Infact all Jesse Benton said is "CBS news.". He never mentioned the moderators.

Secondly, this article is paired with Bachman, who is seen as the crazy one in the race. The intention behind doing this is to make people associate Bachman with Paul. Even though there is absolutely zero comparison. Bachman is the crazy woman in the debate who is telling the entire world that the middle easy wants to launch global nuclear holocaust. And Ron is the candidate who is eccentric and "off base" with the typical republican establishment... the "loon" of the bunch.

So they must figure if they can pair Ron with Bachman then people will be less willing to vote for Paul. The reality of this coverage is that the media are actually criminal in their very nature. This is a 100% offensive campaign against Paul.

I do believe that there is something called equal time laws for the media. I think this overall treatment of this candidate , considering the public demand for his voice to be heard.. This is grounds for some kind of legal action. But I'm no lawyer..

I wish everyone got the same amount of time

Yeah, I'm for Ron Paul, obviously, but I do want to hear the other candidates. These debates should be longer.

Time for infomercials?

Hey it worked for Ross Perot, maybe Dr. Paul can reach more people with his message the same way. The debates are proving to be a poor venue to educate the voters on Paul's position.

We have FREE infomercials. It's called Social Media

When Ross ran, there was no Facebook, no Twitter, no YouTube. The fact is, not a lot of people really watch traditional network TV anymore (much to the networks' chagrin). And if you did put one out there, on "what channel" as the average cable viewer now has hundreds of specialty channels at their discretion.

THE BEST infomercial are the ones you and I share with friends on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Why? Because "we" as THEIR family and friends are "trusted" (hopefully) to share with them meaningful content. Oh, and not only is this more effective...IT IS FREE!!!

Post a link to a story, post a RP YouTube clip, post something from the Daily Show about other candidates that gives a de facto endorsement of Ron and his policies of sanity.

BUILD THE CASE through your own individual spheres of influence. I've been doing this for a while now with close to 1100 Facebook "friends" and it's amazing how many of them are now also "liking" and "sharing" those posts themselves.

So use the infomercials we all have at our fingertips "now" to share using Social Media. That is something we ALL can do...and again...for "free" :-)

I have been thinking that as well

I would love to hold a money bomb that would be specifically for him to do a Ross Perot type infomerical. All these years later and people still talk about those. The downside is you annoy people because you interrupt their Dancing With The Stars episode.

I just don't know if that would be a good use of his campaign funds. Ross Perot had a lot of personal income at his disposal.

Perot had billions. I can't

Perot had billions.

I can't help but wonder if there's any mega-millionaires/billionaires who have donated to RevolutionPAC.

By my estimates the "Chinese Troops in Texas" video could air in its entirety for about $6 million during the Superbowl. It would be the sole commercial during a full timeout.

If they haven't done so

If they haven't done so already, The RevolutionPAC should solicit investor Jim Rogers. He's a multi-multi millionaire if not a billionaire and he's on record as supporting Ron Paul as the ONLY candidate that might be able to save the U.S. from a complete financial collapse.

Class Action Lawsuit!

Class Action Lawsuit!

CBS's bias is unmistakable - yellow journalism at it's best.

Perry – 5 questions, 2 follow ups

Newt – 5 questions, 1 follow up

Cain – 5 questions, 1 follow up

Romney – 4 questions, 1 follow up

Santorum – 3 questions, 2 follow ups

Bachman – 3 questions

Huntsman – 2 questions, 1 follow up

Paul – 1 question, 1 follow up

Reuters & JeruSalem Post = same.

both of them avoid mentioning Ron Paul, read article below, -

RP is not even in the picture of the stage, see frame.

only an opportunity to slam Ron Paul more

Now they group him with the cry baby woman.

I am SO glad this has hit the front page. ABC ftw!!

Hopefully it will stay there for a significant amount of time and not just in the middle of the night lol

Well, it's gone

by 8am

The link is still there at the top!

ah, there's that tiny link

thanks. I can keep track of how the media is reporting how the campaigns are complaining about how the media is shafting them. What kind of people are making these decisions in media board rooms? I'll bet they're young, super ambitious, aggressive, intolerant, ruthless corporate climbers. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But, editorial judgement ought to be more seasoned.

There is a taped video of the

There is a taped video of the CBS polls that show Ron Paul leading with a landslide margin... then the video is taken down. Perhaps this video is good evidence of what the media is doing with intent to undermine Ron Paul's growing popularity and his campaign efforts and should be sent out to all MSM news agencies, alternate stations, talk show hosts etc. The media is abusing their powers with such overt and covert operations to eliminate Ron Paul from the GOP political scene.

The video:

Great find.

Please make it a separate thread for all to see. :)
