Did Anyoen See "Why We Fight" documentary?

Watched the documentary a while ago, and I knew I liked it but it was on TV yesterday and I TIVO it and watching it now.

Of course you have the war mongers like Bill Kristol, Richard Pere and John McCain on there talking about the necessary war for peace. If there ever was a oxymoron the war-for-peace has to be one.

The funniest moment came when McCain said he would publicly investigate Cheney for Halliburton corruption and then he got a call from Cheney in the middle of the interview and looked really uncomfortable...lol

if you haven't seen it you should watch it Should give you an answer why democrats keep funding the war. Hint: Defense contractors spread their factories among voter districts to make sure that if they were ever cut voters would be out of jobs and pissed!

They showed in one year the the Pentagon spe4nt 1.2 Billion Dollars in advertisement for recruitment. Wonder how much they would need to spend if China was ready to invade from Mexico. My guess is ZERO!

Great documentary.

Another "Enlightening" film is...

Google video "The Power of Nightmares" by the BBC. This one lays out why the neoCONs and their "Islamofascist" terrorists are soulmates--creatures cut from the same clothe.

Sickening Scene

At about the 1 hour 27 minute point in this film there is a sickening scene. It shows an Iraqi being shot by a US solider because he didn't understand the English command.

Look at what this mess of a War has done to the troops, to us, to the country. All due to an idiotic ideology espoused by a few Neo-Cons at the top of the Government.

I would recommend reading

I would recommend reading Richard J. Maybury's book, "
World War I: The Rest of the Story and How It Affects You Today" if you're going to watch that documentary. That documentary is shown from a statist viewpoint and promotes the view that WWI was a battle of good vs. evil.

Ron Paul is my hero :)

In my opinion...

Fighting for peace is kinda like having an orgy for virginity.... 8/

Dam politicians, not rivers!

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams

Stay IRATE, remain TIRELESS, and set those BRUSH FIRES everywhere you go and in all you do!

It is a fine documentary

and I bet the vast majority of folks watching would agree with RP's solution..."March 'em out"

Yeah, it was great. Just

Yeah, it was great. Just finished it up. Scary that kid who signed up for Iraq. And the testimony of the bomb droppers, almost had a pleasurable grin on their faces. scary.

That scumbag Bill Kristol is one of those directly responsible for the war. I mean to see the bloody kids bombed is just disgusting. Can't we use Bill Kristol as a smart bomb and drop him over his next target? S W E E T !

The bastards that got us into

this war and the bastards that still endorse it make me sick. McCain is still proud of his support for the war and for the surge. I'd like to ask him WHY a 19 year old soldier from Andover, NH had to die a couple weeks ago over in Iraq. Is there ANY possible justification?

That man is really

That man is really disgusting to me... What a vile human being to promote war, and we are talking preemptive war and invasion, not defensive war.
