Creepy

Romney has taken the prize for creepiest debating with his "double Guantanamo" and Guliani came in second place tonight with his "i'm not telling you how I would react to a new terrorist attack" plan, but Mike Huckabee took the cake this time with his "Fascism in America" bit.

The idea that the "One Nation" should continue to bleed itself in a war he admitted to be a mistake for our "honor" was downright Nazi-era sloganeering. [POLLING INTERRUPTION: Should American generals commit seppuku after losing battles?] He opposed Ron Paul on the idea of the people electing representatives to fix things and continued with his neo-con approved (by show of applause) idea of "One Nation" saving face by continuing in the rut that they have made. That "One Nation" excerpt from the pledge of allegiance, which was written by a socialist minister, spits in the face of individual liberty and turns our nations principles on end! Our servant government should be pledging allegiance to us, the people!!! Anyways, that sure gave me the 1930's shivers.

Not all bad news though. The applause for Huckabee could point to the GOP now admitting the Iraq War was a mistake. I don't know if they realized/meant that though...

The Hard Sell

Also in the creepy and sad category are the FreedomsWatch ads with the poor paraplegic veteran pushing the war agenda, along with McCain telling Hannity he and a group of vets are going on the road "all across the country" for the same agenda.

Mike Huckabee is creepy

Very creepy. And I still don't understand why HSLDA endorsed him. I am a home schooling mom and I have supported HSLDA in the past but I will never support them in the future. The fact that they have endorsed such a person tells me that they don't care about this nation's sovereignty. HSLDA should know better. They know the UN wants to shut down home schooling and still they endorse Huckabee. If I ever go to a home schooling convention, and someone from HSLDA is speaking, I will boo them loud and long!

"The greatest Civil Liberty is Life" - Romney

Again, we see that "Give me liberty or give me death" is "Take our Liberty and make us safe"

This is the saddest thing in the debate aside from Fred Thompson getting more stage time than Ron Paul. The only bright side is that Dr. Paul won the debate poll again and he did really well against Hannity.
