CO - TODAY is deadline to register Republican (12/7)

The deadline to switch party registration to Republican is December 7.

We need to make a push to get Libertarians, Independents, and Democrats registered Republican. Make sure all the supporters you come in contact with are registered Republican!

Check your voter registration status here:

You can change party affiliation online here:

3 more

Today, Dec 7, I got three more. Two Ds and 1 U.

If you are a Ron Paul supporter in Colorado and you were not converting people to R, please get in the game! Find people to go to caucus with you on Feb 7.

Is this not important information?

TODAY is the deadline!

There are lots of Independents and Libertarians that would vote for Ron Paul but they NEED to register Republican.

Please keep this bumped today.

Today is the deadline

Please keep this bumped up all day.

Everyone in CO should double check their registration to make sure they are registered Republican.

Please make sure your friends check their registration too.

Two more

Ron Paul republicans registered tonight.

Good job!

Keep it up. Tomorrow is the deadline.

For liberty

a bump... that is.

Deadline Approaching

Still Time!

Since there will be no democratic primary/caucus in Colorado

I think we should also consider asking democrats to make the switch to Republican to help win Colorado for Ron Paul. Of course in the general election they can vote for whoever they want. But if they want a real choice next November. A candidate who will do what he says.

Not much time left

Hope people in CO are aware of this deadline.

If you are in CO, make sure to double check your own registration status.

CO Caucus Registration Leaflet

Ron Paul is the ONLY anti-war candidate... people are sick of war. That alone will get him elected.

Very nice.

Are the supporters you're talking to aware of the deadline?

No, they don't know about the deadline

I'm going to EVERY house with this leaflet to try to get independents and blue republicans.

I say, "Hi, I'm reminding people to register republican if they wish to participate in the GOP presidential caucus."

I give them the leaflet, and I walk away.

I need help! I don't have enough time to hand out all 2,000 leaflets before 12/7/11

This is important.

People in Colorado do NOT know the deadline.

The deadline to register Republican 3 days away!

Supporters in CO need to double check their own registration status to make sure they are registered Republican and get other known supporters to check their registration too.

Thank you for what you're doing.

Lets get all the 18 to 21 year olds

since Perry doesn't want them.

At the risk of sounding

At the risk of sounding stupid, I'll ask something I've been trying to figure out.

I am currently attending college in Lincoln, NE, but am registered in CO. Colorado being a caucus state, I'm assuming that in order for me to cast my vote I would have to physically be in the precinct of my CO address on the night of Feb 7, correct? Is there any alternative to this? I feel so aggravated at the thought that I most likely will not be able to contribute my vote at that time because I will not be there in person.

Casting your vote does

Casting your vote does nothing. All that is is a straw poll.
The caucus is there for Delegates to be elected. that is the most important function you can perform. If you want to become a delegate I would plan on coming home for a few days. Or try to find a cheap ticket from Lincoln to Denver. can't cost that much and fly back that night. If you do not Want to be a Delegate I would not worry about casting your vote in the straw poll. It does nothing for no one.

You must be physically present at the caucus on 2/7

in order to vote in Colorado.

If you cannot make it to CO on February 7, you should register to vote in Nebraska. States let college students register to vote in their home state or their college state.

If you do register in Nebraska, you must also fill out a form to be a candidate for delegate to the County Convention.

Here is the form to be a candidate for delegate:

It must be notarized and then sent to your County Clerk. This will place your name on the May 15, 2012 ballot as a candidate for delegate to the County Convention. Each precinct gets to send at least 2 delegates to the County Convention but most people don't fill out the form and the ones that do usually win by default.

This is important because Nebraska holds a primary and a caucus and it is the caucus portion that determines the real winner. Therefore, you must be a delegate to the County Convention to have a say in the Nebraska elections.

Thank you so much for the

Thank you so much for the information. I've spent so much time researching so many other things that I just assumed I couldn't register in Nebraska as my driver's license is from CO. I'll be doing this right away. One last question - I'm not familiar with the protocol for states that hold a primary and a caucus. Obviously you can only participate in one or the other, correct?

Send me a message through DailyPaul or Ron Paul Forums and I'll explain it to you in detail.

Today I got another to register Republican. A few days to go for the unaffiliated/Democrats to register R.

Keep up the good work!

Were the people you helped register planning on supporting Ron Paul but just didn't know about the 12/7 deadline?

If this is the case, I'm afraid there are a lot of supporters out there who do not know this deadline and will lose the chance to vote for Ron Paul.

I sent it to all my contacts

best I could do. Thanks for the post, please keep up the great work!!!!

going good?

Going good in Colorado?

It doesn't seem like we'll be getting much support from Independents and Democrats in Colorado.

I've only seen this deadline posted on one Ron Paul Facebook page and the deadline is one week away. Many people who would possibly vote for Ron Paul are unaware of this deadline.

If Independents/Libertarians/Democrats do not register Republican by December 7, they cannot vote for Ron Paul in the caucus. Simple as that.

Please help spread the word.

working it

Last week in my county I got 3 unaffiliated and one Democrat to become R. Today I got another unaffiliated to register R.

All of these new Rs have said they will attend caucus the evening of February 7.

Choose one of these simple ways to change registration:
GO to county clerk & recorder (in county govt offices)

11 days left

It would be a shame if we lost out on votes because people were unaware of the deadline to register Republican.
