Another Conservative Radio Host is Awakening!

Just this morning I tuned in to 760 KFMB radio for the first time in a long, long time. He was just starting a segment on Iran and I thought, oh no here we go, beating the drums of war (like they usually do on this station.)
But NO, lo and behold there was Mike Slater explaining in detail the history of US involvement in Iran...THE TRUTH and went on to state that our interventionist foreign policy was the problem not the solution. I was hootin' and slappin the dash! I called and thanked his screener and then went to the computer to be amazed again as I located his radio blog, there was the Good Doc staring at me along with a Tom Woods video and a video of Dr Paul's speech at the Value Voters summit....I was STUNNED! And joyous!
I wrote him to tell him I would be listening every day. Here's the link, let him know how you feel too! We are getting through...persistance is omnipotent especially when TRUTH is on your side!

Local Media Bomb
I know having the big networks mention Ron Paul's name may be impossible, but what if we focused our energies on local? Local radio shows, small businesses, etc.
We could help them by giving them a ton of retweets, recommendations, reposts, etc.

I loved everything he said. The host Mike Slater "gets it".
And, it's so great of him to post Ron Paul's speech at the Value Voter's, and Tom Woods video clip on how he changed his mind about the Iraqi war, right in the middle of it all.

He's on sirius/xm 125 patriot on sunday mornings, I think around 9am-ish. I used to work weekends and I would listen to him on my itouch xm app in the mornings. He's always been very skeptical of our foreign involvement which is somewhat surprising because I think he works(ed) for glenn beck and a couple other neo-cons on that channel.
I have to return some videotapes...

Every time I got into my car yesterday on POTUS they were talking up Paul on foreign policy. I don't know who was on each time I turned the radio on because Sirius is new to me right now... needless to say I was quite pleased.

Mike's been getting more and more pro Ron Paul over the past few months. I let him know on his FB page that I appreciated his Iran segment this morning.
ETA: I see the comment below that he has always been pro Paul. Either way, Mike has a good show and does a lot more questioning then telling you what to think.
I'm from the small city of
I'm from the small city of Jackson, Tennessee that Mike Slater was working in just a couple years ago before he went to San Diego. His radio show here was VERY popular. I believe he supported Dr. Paul back then and he's always been a pro-military supporter. He helped out with a rally for a local fallen soldier to raise money for his family if I remember right. Another soldier (whom I don't think knew personally the one who had died) jogged/walked like 50 or 100 miles to get people to the rally. When they finally got to Jackson, people were jumping out of vehicles to join the group. I was one of them. Mike also would introduce veterans at local music performances. I have a lot of respect for Mike Slater. If he talks neo-con issues in San Diego, I would suspect that's because of the public wanting to hear it and those that give him a paycheck. Since Ron Paul won the straw poll there (which I'm SURE he's ecstatic over!), he can say more what he believes. Thanks for posting this!

I fugured out how you missed
I fugured out how you missed it...his name was split between lines. Mike at the end of a line, and Slater at the beginning of the next line, so it did not register as a name.
