We NEED to show FOX we can HURT them!

I know everyone is as angry with Fox, but that is their plan! Focus on the positives right now, we don't have a minute to waste. CAMPAIGN, CAMPAIGN, CAMPAIGN, and don't stop until you drop.

We can go after Fox during the February sweeps. That's the time to make them pay.

What you are suggesting is that we participate in a mass e-mail campaign to create complaints which will be filed in each LOCAL FOX affiliate's Public Inspection File. Don't you think you are jumping the gun a bit here? WHAT exactly is it that you are filing a complaint about? Is it something that has already transpired or is it something that MIGHT happen, but hasn't happened yet? Such creative talent of yours should not be used on knee-jerk reactions which will only damage our cause in the long run. Play it smart and see what FOX does next...THEN do something about it. Form letters in Public Inspection Files do not carry much weight. If the letter is personalized to the local affiliate, and written by a viewer/listener who actually lives in the broadcast footprint of said affiliate, then you have something with traction. Please use the wealth of knowledge available on the DP forum to improve upon your idea. No man is an island, right?

The fact that most of the posters on this thread advise the original poster to cool down is proof that we will overcome the Fox News snub of our candidate.

Wait until the campaign figures out what's going on with Fox. Then THINK before you do anything. Then THINK AGAIN.

Most Fox affiliates are independents. Many of them have run very favorable local stories about Ron Paul. We could put an end to that real quick.

Vent all that energy by going out in the streets and waving Ron Paul signs.

Many, if not most, affiliates are independent. They can be our allies in this. Please don't do anything rash.

Remember that evil springs from impotence. The impotence of their philosophy is their weakness. They are afraid of the freedom message, and would like to get some of us to discredit it, preferably by an attack on them. Their fall from grace will be from a greater height if it is by their own actions. If they exclude Dr. Paul from their forum, it discredits them, not us or Dr. Paul. Disrupting their forum will only give them an excuse to discredit us and rally their audience in their defense.

It could cost us the election.

Use reasonable, peaceful means to express your displeasure, but please, please, do not hand FOX a gun to shoot us with!

If anyone causes a disruption at that event, the commentary will be all about the kooks who support Dr. Paul (and they will drag up every kook they can think of). They will spin on ad nauseum about how dangerous a grass roots campaign is, how incompetent Dr. Paul is for not controlling his supporters like the others, how the neocons were right about the backlash against the state being a threat of homegrown terrorism, plus whatever else they can think up. Their tactic will be to paint Dr. Paul as 'unpresidential'.

They are searching for anything negative to report about the campaign, because they cannot win any arguments against following the constitution.

Please don't sabotage the campaign!

FOX News comes from the viewpoint that supports measures to enact police state powers. All they need now is a visible demonstration to prove their point that freedom-lovers are unstable wackos who can't be trusted with their freedom.
