Top Tier Candidate Ron Paul Tells CBS Camera Man: "That's rude" for Shoving Reporter

Seems like CBS is having a change of heart since Saturday’s debate.

Three days ago CBS hosted an hour-long foreign policy debate during which Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul had a mere 90 seconds of air time. Less than a week later, the network is muscling competitors out of the way just to get a camera shot of the Texas congressman.

Always the gentleman

and the man we all love so much shows the world here why we do.

We are all truly blessed to be able to support him.

He is as a President ought to be. And we need him to do just that.

Ron Paul is My President

The Man you see is the Man you'll get.

Gee, I love that RP is surging. And the press is now fighting to interview him. Outstanding! His integrity and conviction from the very start has never been called into question. His demeanor is one of controlled power - the mark of a leader.
The comment he so quickly and naturally made to the cameraman pushing the reporter woman got the blogs of the century about his genuiness. It showed his real colors- nothing contrived for personal gain.
I think he has the Heart of a lion, the Sensitivity of a caring father, and the natural Charismatic charm of a true gentleman. These are the atributes that an American President should have. I just ordered more flyers and buttons from the dailypaul website.

Go RP....!!!!

Have your way with me".

The first time I met Dr. Paul

was at the TX State Convention during the 07-08 campaign. (this comment is only loosely related to this video in regards to his & his staffs demeanor). I was a Delegate from Austin pct. 460 and stepped out to have an adult breathing exercise (a cig) and Dr. Paul and his team came around a corner right by me and I was stunned. I realized it was actually happening and grabbed my camera from my suit jacket and calmly, without calling his name or anything, just walked in pace with them and took pictures. After about 10 snaps it seemed like he nudged his security and pointed at me, at which the security guy said, "hey, hey, come over." Dr Paul, then stepped towards me and the team member gestured for my camera in a friendly way and Dr. Paul reached out and put his arm around me and drew me in (full disclosure, I had a RP lapel pin on my jacket)and the staff member snapped a few photos with my camera (Carol was there too, letting Ron do his thing) and we chatted for a few minutes. It was unbelievable. He cordially let me know after those minutes that he had to go and he appreciated my support and 4-5 hours later was his event at the convention where he announced the formation of the Campaign for Liberty.

After that convention, meeting Dr. Paul, being at that event, and just knowing that, I was not wrong, this was the genuine article. Not the man, but these ideas. And electing people who actually live these ideas as I try to.

That experience (on top of just working with so many supporters from all walks of life to try and get him elected) was one of the turning points in my thinking that made me certain that I was completely on the right track. The campaign, driving home to Austin from Houston the next day, was not over. We just got a few extra years to work on it.

I'll close this too lengthy comment by saying, keep up the good fight, remember that we've got people to educate and get on our side and let's do this thing this time.

cool story!

Is that "secret service" doods behind him? They better do a good job. You know RP is legit when he finally has "federal protection", whatever that means. =D

He has private security and the man with the crew cut hair is very uber.

that is why we all love RP. =D

So calm and collected.

I wish people on the MSM could see this video.

RP is so relaxed answering the interviewers questions. And ofcourse, so noble in defending the videographer who was pushed. Even his scolding is kind.

Sounds like he says...

"I don't like to be shoved, either".

Total guesses here...

Sounded like the CBS photographer said, "Now do I get to shove you?" as in, perhaps, shoving the Daily Caller reporter interviewing Ron. After which, the video camera woman (who was just shoved) said "This is my reporter." Or maybe he said, "I don't want to get to shoved either" or something different. Again, just total guesses.

Thanks for that link. That clock is mine. I know just where to hang it where hundreds will see it. Don't go to ebay much. Never would've seen it.

Yeah, I know, here come all the minus votes, but hear me out.

I think Ron Paul is wrong about the reason he is given so little time and attention. He says it's because "they" don't want to hear the truth, it's because he wants to change the status quo, and "they" represent the status quo (welfare state, banking/monetary system, foreign policy).

But I know lots of people who don't benefit from the status quo who are, or at least have been, absolutely convinced that Ron Paul has no chance and he can't win. They're not afraid of what he has to say, they agree with it, at least mostly. They just think he's too old, the personality is not right, the views are too libertarian (not for them, but for others), etc.

I have no reason to believe that this is not also true for the decision-makers who decide how much time he is given in debates, and how much attention he gets on the news, etc.

I mean, just compare how much more time and attention he's getting, generally, in debates now than in 2007/08 (some of which he was not even in). Compare how much more attention and time he's given than Gary Johnson.

Look at how the Cain coverage changed once he started climbing in the polls.

My theory explains all that much better than his theory does. I mean, okay, maybe there is a little bit of that going on, but clearly the most important factor in determining time/attention is performance in these polls.

Everyone knows and understands the chicken/egg problem. The media expects Perry to do well, so he gets a lot of coverage, and presto, he climbs in the polls. But in terms of Gingrich and Cain recent rises, and now Paul's, the media really had little to do with it. Once the numbers start climbing however, then they jump in.

This is all about to be proven. See how much attention Ron Paul starts getting not only on cable news, but also on the main broadcast news channels. How will he explain that?

Paul's theory reminds me a little of the people who argue that oil companies are responding for raising gas prices. But they're silent when gas prices drop, begging the question, if they're responsible for the prices, why are they lowering them?

Same story here, or it's about to be. I predict Ron Paul will start getting respect commensurate to his recent climb in the polls, which will beg the question, if they're afraid to hear him, why are they letting him speak so much? To discount him now would mean discounting everyone else except Romney.

We'll see.

The Grateful Dead covered an old song called "Don't Ease Me In." I believe they try to ease us in. They bring Ron in and treat him good, just long enough to pose as real conservatives and make us think they're above board. And then oh well, Ron lost fair and square, so you Ron Paul supporters should be good Republicans and support the nominee. Well FU CK them.
