You're not all a bunch of kids out there, ARE YOU?

I'm just wondering. I don't care if you are. (At least someone has some good sense out there.)

But...

Are there any Ron Paul supporters that hang out at the Daily Paul over the age of 35?? I sometimes wonder if I'm hanging out in cyberspace with a bunch of teens and 20-somethings.

If you posted to this thread, and scarcely post otherwise, STOP THAT! So many names on this thread don't contribute to the conversation, please jump in guys, please share your thoughts. Especially the older folks, my career has taught me to heed the words of the experienced. 47 btw.

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

Ahem. 17

17 year old here and, man, I feel like a little kid.

I've been campaigning hard within my own age group, who will be able to exercise their first vote this Presidential election. A lot have caught on, but some just really don't care, which is frustrating because they need to understand how much bearing this has on them.

Teenagers can feel like nothing can touch them sometimes, so it can get tough, but there have been many positive reactions by my more open-minded and concerned mates.

53 here but....

I have the body of a 52 yr. old!

I'm 41 and it seems like there are a lot of people on here that are 41! We're the kids from the 1980's!

Cheers to the young folks, though

Hell, yeah!

I'm 60, and a bunch of my friends in Phoenix are well over 35, and they STARTED the R3volution with the stencil logo and a website for teaching activists how to make signs and do other stuff. I'm not sure how many hang out here, but I can tell you that stuff from here appears regularly at freedomsphoenix.com, run by the same folks.

1-1-2012 IS Armageddon....

For me. I turn 50.

This is the article that got my posting privileges revoked:

Hey there...

yes...there are. Look at that recent survey on DP...lots of 40-somethings.

Truth-be-told, Ron Paul supporters are a wonderful age mix.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

Oldsters are like fine wine....better with age!

I'm 63 and hand out RP brochures (the new ones!) to travelers on airplanes, friends/co-workers and the "No Taxes on Tips" cards to pizza deliverers, manicurists and restaurant staff. I always carry brochures and cards in my purse along with copies of For Liberty Recut 'cause you never know when you'll need them. I wear a RP shirt when out in public, have placed a RP banner in plain view on my property and RP bumper stickers on my car. I donate as much as I can, whenever I can. I work full time and some days my bones are painful and creaky, but I'm in this fight with all of you regardless of age. If someone comes up with an "Over the Hill" group to support the good doctor, I'm interested. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

I'm at the ripe old age of 25, but Ron Paul makes me feel like I'm 21 again. :D

Hey Oldtimer!

My husband and I also go waaaaay back with Ron Paul when he WAS our representative before redistricting. Small world! =+)
I, also, agree there are many of us young-ens,(I'm 63), who support Dr. Paul BUT I also know that it's either our generation or Texans who can be VERY set in their ways!! =+[
Hey, what about setting up a group of "over the hill" Ron Paul supporters!! =+D

Hi texasgal!

Great idea for an over-the-hill group! Because of re-districting we, too, are no longer in Ron's district but in the neighboring one, unfortunately. Pete Olson is supposed to represent us but, in reality, supports whatever the Republican party promotes. What a loser.

But I feel older and younger at the same time.

You are not Alone

I'm 57. It seem like DP'rs are mostly young and old. I think the gap would be in the middle. Those who are yuppies and/or busy with career and young children.
The younger people feel revolution more, the effect of these wars, the college scam, the lack of opportunity. A complete gov. brainwash education. They see the earth is getting ruined and not by people but by corporations!
Ok I'm older and don't text what the heck is bump. If it means nothing pls cease with it. I'd love to know.

When a forum poster has no particular

comment to add to a thread, but thinks the OP is worth others seeing, just post 'bump' to bring the OP to the top of Active Topics and give it another chance to be seen. Topics move very fast on the DP and many good posts are not noticed if the headlines don't immediately catch attention and draw readers. I'm an old timer too and it took me a while to catch the lingo.

OH! TOTALLY! Thank you Yes, BUMP! is Good

I'm 69

I'm 69 going on 70. My husband and I volunteered in Dr. Paul's very first campaign for Congress from our district and have followed and supported him ever since. I think there are many older people here in Texas who support him and have sent him back to Washington time and again. Now it will be our honor to send him to the White House.

30 going on 31.

However I believe, after following and being a part of this website since the last run, that the age gap within the Liberty movement is transcended by the sincere respect and thirst for true knowledge that its members share. I have the utmost respect for my elders, I also have the utmost respect for my juniors. Both sets of people have knowledge that I can learn from-- just as I may have experiences that I could share with them. Sorry I am rambling. hahahaha

I'm 72 Junior.

Not to worry, there are many of us out here with grey hair and lots of enthusiasm! but I LOVE that the youth SEE the problem and that the solution lies in a restoration of our Republic and true Constitutional government. Liberty and Freedom is, and always has been, a powerful message.

THANK YOU younger generation -- the R3volution would die without you!
