Ron Paul's Vice President: Why Not His Running Mate from 1988?

There's been a lot talk about Ron Paul's possible pick for a VP running mate. I've heard people suggest Jesse Ventura, Ralph Nader, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Peter Schiff, ... the list goes on.

However, it dawned on me that Ron Paul must have had a running mate when he ran in 1988 on the Libertarian ticket, right? Who was he/she? It turns out his running mate was also the Libertarian nominee in 1992. His name is Andre Marrou, and he is very sharp. I watched the following two videos of him on YouTube. I always thought I would've voted for Ross Perot in 1992 if I had been of voting age, but listening to Andre Marrou made me change mind.

Andre is 73

Wow, I really think he's a sharp guy, like Ron Paul. Perhaps he's not in good health like RP. Or maybe he is, but enjoying retirement? Wow, where was I in 1992? In a different frame of mind, that's for sure, and definitely not awake. My awakening didn't happen fully until 2003.
