Daily Paul and myself covered by the mainstream media in Canada!
Main TV station based in Vancouver:
Main newspaper in Winnipeg:
Radio station based in Ontario:
Huffington Post picked up the story:
How it all started?
I was interviewed by Canadian mainstream news outlet:
This was the question for me:
Basically what I'd like to know is why you think Ron Paul resonates with youth? Is it just the drug stuff? And why is he resonating with Canadians? How many Canadians are getting involved? What are you doing specifically to get the message out to Canadians, and why given we can't vote for him?
And this was my answer:
I don't use drugs but I think the state should not be in the business of morality - Churches can do that.
War on drugs brings suffering violence high incarceration rates and is very very expensive for the taxpayers.
Dr. Ron Paul resonates with youth because they can see his honesty his integrity.
They know as president he would not send them away to some war and institute forced military draft for the young people. He speaks truth to power. He is everything that young people expected Obama to be (before most people realized Obama was another puppet of Wall St. and the military machine).
There are many Canadians who are involved in Ron Paul's campaign.
Hard to pick a number.
I know about 20 activists from Canada who post on the main grassroots blog:
This is my activist page there:
you can view my articles videos comments and so on.
Some people tell me I am the # 1 Ron Paul supporter in Canada.
At the moment I use Twitter to reach people especially those in the first voting state Iowa (Jan. 3rd Caucus day)
I print leaflets and place them inside free newspapers such as NOW weekly paper.
I post leaflets on the streets in various high traffic places.
Giving them away at Occupy Toronto and during cultural events/festivals and so on.
By changing America we change Canada and the rest of the world.
Peace president in America means no more hassles at the US border and at the airports no more groping...
Military spending is the biggest part of budgets in almost every country.
Instead of fighter jets "smart" bombs that cost trillions we can feed the planet provide prosperity for every human being. Gandhi was also not Canadian as is Dalai Lama - but their words are living within our Canadian hearts just
as the words of the good doctor from Texas Ron Paul.
How did I do?
I need some feedback.
I was writing fast and could have done a better job - especially covering economic matters.
The article will be send to me and then I will post it here for everyone.
The journalist was very nice very pleasant.
She covers US politics as Washington correspondent.
UPDATE: Article Posted!!!
Second media outlet picked it up here:
This article will appear in newspapers (and online) all across Canada in major cities. Winnipeg's main newspaper was the first that picked up this story (my parents and sister happen to live in that city)
Here is the part talking about me and the Daily Paul:
Tomasz Dybowski, a Toronto poet who is working to spread the word about Paul via Twitter and the DailyPaul.com website, says the congressman resonates with youth because he has their interests at heart.
"They can see his honesty and integrity," said Dybowski, 44, who distributed leaflets about Paul at the recent Occupy Toronto protests. "He is everything young people expected Obama to be before most people realized that Obama was another puppet of Wall Street and the military machine."
