Delayed Clapping....

that delay was important...it seemed to me that people were listening to Dr Paul about destroying civil liberties. The proper "rebuttal" contra-Dr Paul would be something like, "no we aren't going to destroy civil liberties" but Newt went for the quick retort that was not even on the same logical plane. So Newt sounded like a fool for not even addressing the issue that the audience was emotionally taking to.

Newt's total acceptance to destroy civil liberties is dangerous

Hyppocrite. Makes his money teaching Christianity...

...then supports killing, maiming, occupation etc but only of people who don't look quite like him.

True mis-representation of the Christian docterine.

I call it Selective Christianity.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I call it heresy.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Christians Mistaken

There is no justification at all for aggressive war in Orthodox Christianity. Any Christian such as this Shane Hart person who believes otherwise is completely wrong. Jesus certainly did not ever endorse an aggressively violent philosophy. Paul did not advocate attacking enemies. Christian teaching is the exact opposite, and I am embarrassed, infuriated, and ashamed I have to point out these elementary principles to men who claim to know something about the Bible and historical Christianity.

Romans 12:17-21
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

If he would only use the brain God gave him !

Shane with eyes closed.

Tell him, I did...

Yes I did...I think I let him know how we feel...I got a little passionate and wordy tho.
