is supposed to do. Excellent use of a news segment..
I think he's an editorialist,
at least in this segment, rather than a journalist. In part one, he was only reporting on facts. In this one, where he promotes Dr. Paul, he is moving past presentation of facts. Still, we need guys like this so much. American news consumers would be a lot smarter with a few more pundits like him.

If you consider facts to be absolute, as opposed to relative, then it's clear everything he said is true and not an opinion.

Ben Swann went on a conservative local radio show in Cincinnati to talk about Ron Paul this week, too. It's a great interview to check out. He's on for about the first 8 minutes. As a fellow Cincinnatian, I am loving this media attention that Ben is giving Dr. Paul.

It's already happening
The war on drugs, especially cannabis, has plenty of assassinations of what the state of CA labels murders, though there was no trial.
And there's another twist .. an 82 Yr Old, well known, generous, well liked community minded gentleman, was as usual, riding his bike along our very dangerous coast, when an 18 yr old hit and killed the man. The paper said the 18 yr old was not arrested, he was not on the cell phone or texting. It did't say anything more. The 82 year old has no family, and I'm wondering, if you "old" and have no family, does that mean that it's not vehicle manslaughter?
The cult of death is growing long shadows where I live, and people are moving out. I saw a map published by Freedom 21, and it said, "If you live here, you won't".. this area was on the map.

Was the man riding his bike without lights or reflectors at night or weaving in and out of traffic? There are circumstances under which the 18-year-old might not have been culpable. Then again, maybe he was the police chief's son...
Re the drug war murders, are you referring to shootings by law enforcement officers in the course of a drug bust? Certainly the drug laws are unjust but in general an officer is entitled to shoot if he perceives a threat to his life. Too often officers shoot mistakenly but is there proof of some program of intentional killings when no threat is perceived? Those conditions would have to exist before a shooting can be an assassination.

RE: War on drugs
This summer there were three murders on private property where there were illegal grows. The grows were miles apart, so far apart, that one of the murders dropped off the map and the focus for a month, was a manhunt of Aaron Bassler, who was accused of murdering Ex-Fort Bragg Mayor Jere Melo and State Park employee Matt Colman. Bassler's father said his son was "mental" (yet this guy survived very well for over a month in the woods). The father said he tried to get help for his son, no one listened. The son was shot by four men who participated in the hunt.
Now the father is promoting "Laura's Law/ it's modled after NY's Kendra Law, but it's to have ALL mentally ill people on forced medication and wearing a GPS device.
Aaron Bassler is the son who, IMO was assassinated (as a warning a lesson to the growers in the Emerald Triangle).
The Emerald Triangle does not want legalized medical marijuana and voted it down. Our Government, Jerry Brown from Oakland, wants medical marijauna legalized and for the taxes to pay off the states' debt.
Meanwhile, there is an exodus out of this area because of this. The manhunt went through people's backyards and now Obama is sending in the Feds, so the state laws, Proposition 215, Measure G are meaningless.
