Text Message for Ron Paul
With the Primaries right in front of us now, we should continue to take every approach we can muster to spread the message of our beloved congressman, Dr. Paul, to every level, facet, and realm of the voting public. We have taken Dr. Paul's name aflight with the "Ron Paul Blimp," numerous advertisements in various newspapers, multitudes of YouTube videos, spectacular successes in online fundraising, militant marches and sign-waving events, and other attractions. Yet, I believe there's another way we can get Dr. Paul's message out in a convenient and expedient fashion.
Since most Americans use cell phones now in their daily communications, what better way to spread the message of our "Ron Paul Revolution" than to send out text messages to all our family, friends, co-workers, etc. in a massive, grassroots effort! We've already astounded the media establishment with our huge text-polling support for Dr. Paul in the Fox News debates, so I think we can continue this throughout the Primary and General elction seasons and astound the entire nation. Text messaging is not only easy, but it's quick, cheaper than purchasing other campaign materials, and fun! Think of the possibilities of how many people (young voters, in particular) we could reach simply by a Ron Paul text message. It'll be like a "domino effect" or a chain of information: one person texts two friends, and those two friends text two other friends, etc., etc. We're already dominating the competition in the number of signs, bumper stickers, etc. seen around the country for Ron Paul; I think we could also dominate in our text messaging for Dr. Paul.
The text message itself could contain anything from providing Dr. Paul's website to listing some of his major platform points. The possibilities are almost limitless, and the creativity is at your discretion. This is just an idea that has come to my mind, and perhaps even some of you have thought of this before and/or have done this already. In any case, this idea is something I've not seen on any of the Ron Paul forums and blogs, so I thought I'd just put it out there. Let me know what you all think, and remember, our rEVOLution should be fun and innovative, and that's why I believe it's generated so much success and enthusiasm!
