Drudge FAIL: [Edit]
Submitted by egapele on Mon, 11/28/2011 - 19:53I think Drudge's site needs to be included in the MSM boycott planned for April 17. Apparently the silly Michelle vs. Ann spat is more newsworthy than [number of issues too numerous to list] and Romney isn't even the nominee! If you agree, please keep this bumped and voted up. This blackout has got to be dealt with.

He is posting a Fox News poll showing Romney winning
among likely Republican primary voters and not the PPP poll showing Ron Paul beating Obama in the general election!!!! I know this is a self-bump but we MUST put a stop to this! Let's boycott Drudge!!
Since when does the FOX NEWS POLL
take precedent over a RASMUSSEN POLL? Answer: When you are no longer reporting the news and are instead spreading propaganda! Goodbye, DRUDGE

too many reposts of the same
too many reposts of the same article...
Agree.
.
Well, they get 31,000,000
Well, they get 31,000,000 hits per day I heard, so... But you are correct that their information has a Romney filter. I will say we got zero coverage from them in 2008, and this time he has been pretty generous.
You are correct that the Daily Paul would be the place to go for limited government news without the fluff.
+1 bump
Drudge leans. Romneys way. Must be a LDS thing.

Agreed.

I haven't paid much attention
I haven't paid much attention to the Drudge report for the last month.
Only time I find myself there is to look at a Ron Paul headline linked from here.
If he didn't drive the news so much
then I don't think as many people would pay as much attention.
You're right!
Drudge has become a manipulating tool. It's like someone who goes to Congress. They may be a fine, upstanding person prior, but once there, they melt into a groveling money grubbing whore. Druge has hit the big time, and they relish serving up the desired main dishes for the power boys. I remind them of it everyday in Drudge comment box.

Thank you! This post's up/down votes roller-coaster like crazy
and I just can't understand why. While I understand it's Drudge's site and he's free to post whatever he wants, his intentions are ambiguous. Unlike here at the Daily Paul - yes, it's private property but it's pretty obvious the site owners are Ron Paul supporters. Drudge has become a cheerleader for the military industrial complex and I can't understand why more people here don't see that and he has done NO favors for Ron Paul - any links to from Drudge have been EARNED by Dr. Paul, fair and square.
And good for you for taking the time to send Drudge comments about it.
His obvious fixation with Madonna
is borderline embarrassing. What is it with his fixation with her?
"Borderline"?
...I see what you did there. :)
That would be so funny if it were not true!
They hate us for our freedom. Thank God the government is here to take it away!
Ha! Not what I intended
but nice catch! :)
Yep, have noticed the same thing about DRUDGE...
Used to spend some time there but now just go there, look at the headlines and leave. I cannot understand why people want to read about RIck Santorum, Gingrich, or Romney...it is like the same story which has no real solutions to the issues which face the USA citizens of the future. I think there is such a thing as reincarnation. These 3 guys do not make a case for returning to the US.

So today it's really important to know that Calista
is planning to speak. Phew - such an important public figure.
Ha ha.

Drudge is a tool
for the establishment.
I would have considered your
post just a tad bit overboard 'til now.
I know, but he is!
I'm not saying he is knowingly and consciously working shilling for the establishment. He probably has no idea... but that just makes him more effective.
Effective for who? That's
what makes it so frustrating. That is the website that led me to vote for Bush...twice. It was only until I found out about Ron Paul did I learn never to be led by the media again - especially by Drudge.
Effective for the Establishment!
Yes, he may be unknowingly shilling for the establishment, but it makes him more effective because he may actually believe what he is doing is noble... a more effective tool for the establishment.
I'm in the same boat as you.. before I found out about RP... Now it's so easy to see that Fox News/Talk Radio, the power structure they fit into, and what they are used for... So easy to see, but so hard to get someone stuck in it to realize... So frustrating.
Update: I'm so glad everyone now knows Gisele
has a potty mouth.
Drudgery is where I go to fill up first
Drudge is where I go to fill up first, but he has a bias, and it leans right, that is why I read his site.
I read so many darn news sites that my eyes are going bad, but it's important to me to find things to dig into. See I don't read them JUST for what the stories say, in most cases I also explore the relationships the names have to different ideologies, think tanks, ETC. Why because WHY people say what they do often tips their hands when they do say something, IE what's your motivation?
The entire spectrum in MSM is culpable of shuting Ron Paul out, but what did we expect? Because face it, Rons election, and in a broader sense his fundamental message signals a death knell to the lifeblood of the MSM, the filth of the government run by corporate oligarchs. Oligarchs that own both the MSM and the politician, yes? So really, what did we expect?
I still use drudge, and shall continue doing so, right up until that oligarchal government shuts the webernet down,

Not That Difficult
Drudge (mostly) links to what is already published by the MSM and has no original content of his own. If RP isn't making the news, which he isn't because he is largely ignored, then Drudge isn't going to pick it up and run with it...
Drudge has posted a lot on Ron Paul
Drudge also like to post headlines that are generally sensational--in other words, HEADLINES.
Nevada and Maine in general don't seem to be as well-covered as the run-ups to the previous primaries/caucuses. Not sure why. Maybe because from here on out there are mostly multiple states at the same time so the focus is not as hot on any given state?
Because Dr. Paul has EARNED the posts on Drudge.
He may be our next President. Worthy of coverage, no?
Update: Drudge has all but ignored Ron Paul in Nevada
