is a 81 yr old wwII veteran. I spoke to him on the phone the other day and asked him who he was going to be voting for in the up coming election. He told me that he wasn't voting. Not Voting??? This is the first time I have ever heard my dad say that he would not be voting. I asked him what he thought about Ron Paul he said that he had never heard of him. When I told him about Dr. Paul and what he stood for he was very impressed. He said that he will be vote for him for sure even if he has to write him in. My Dad's the greatest. :-)

I would love to see someone look into the care Veterans receive.
My Father was a WWII Veteran. Last year at 83 he began to get very sick. We took him to the VA Hospital to see what care he was able to get. They were very nice and did help Dad a lot, but you could tell they were on a shoestring budget. Most of everything my Dad needed was taken care of through medical insurance he had from his job (that my parent's still had to pay a premium for). My Father passed away on Dec. 6th 2007. Instead of flowers, we asked that donations went to the VA Hospital.

It is incredibly sad and disgusting that we send our men (and now women) off to defend us and then give them shoddy care when they come home. They SHOULD have the best of everything and want for nothing in health care...they were willing to offer the ultimate sacrifice...and we can't even pay for their medicines????

I recently asked my 78 year old mother on the phone if she had heard of Ron Paul. She said "oh sure, I am a life long Democrat, but I'm changing my party affiliation to Republican so that I can vote for him." I was shocked. My mother had never revealed her party before, even when I asked her directly. All I could say was "good for you mom, America appreciates you." As a life long Republitarian (I usually vote Libertarian or Constitution Party in local races), I was seriously thinking of voting for Hillary, because of what the Repub Party has become, and to show my disgust. I then found Dr. Paul, and talk to as many people as I can about him. I have large (2' X 4') Ron Paul signs on both the front and back of my Dodge Ram pick up. I surprised that I haven't gotten a ticket yet, but all I get are thumbs up driving in Southern Oregon. Here's to the next President, Dr. Ron Paul!

Way to go! I too have registered to vote for the first time in my life. I turned 50 on November 5th. That was such an exciting day! I had always been a cynic when it came to politics. But now we have PAULitics. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel, and his name is Doctor Ron Paul. He has cured our apathy.

And, like you I didn't see anyone running for office worth my attention, let alone my vote. Personally, I find it disgusting what We the People have allowed this country to become. Yes, I said "We" because we let apathy take us over like a plague raging across this Nation, and I Sir, stand guilty as the next.

We can no longer allow "them" to do as they wish with us. We are not their pawns. The sleeping giant is now awakening because now it knows exactly who "they" are and what "they" seek to accomplish. "Their" goals have little or nothing to do with our best interest.

Dr. Paul was right when he said our Forefathers would be disgusted by what we have allowed our government to impose upon us.

But, no more! You, me, we all have had enough. I feel it gaining every day. It's welling up inside of me like a tidal wave and it's spilling out because I can no longer hold it back! And everytime it gushes over it touches another, and another, and another.

My *one* vote has now become many as I continue to spread the message of liberty. My dollars become votes too when I choose where, how, and to whom I give them.

Here's to the Nevil's of the world who realize it's not just "one" vote that is cast, it's the passion behind that vote.
