Much like the economy, the

Much like the economy, the republicans' presidential campaigns have been nothing but a series of political booms and busts, with the exceptions of Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. Ron Paul is the only candidate showing real consistent growth, and it is because his currency of honesty is backed by the commodity of principle.

Go figure! Sound principles..

Go figure! Sound principles.. Hmmm.. fancy that. :)

Even Mitt has sound principles, that of appeasement and agenda progression. He's pretty clear where he stands.

You have RON PAUL on your silly little show

...one of the greatest statesmen who ever lived...and you are not humiliated beyond belief to ask him these questions?

"So, General Washington...we heard Thomas Jefferson has been banging his slaves, what do you think his next move is going to be?"

I Thought the Same Thing

What a wasted opportunity. Dr. Paul is clearly annoyed by the questions. Don't these people know by now that he won't trash his competitors? He's above the fray.

Why doesn't Ron Paul...

...say to an interviewer,

"Wouldn't it be interesting to see what would happen to my numbers if the media reported that I was the front runner? In every case, when the media blasts out to their audience who THEY say is the front runner, that candidate invariably gets a huge boost in support. So why don't they do that for me? There's more than enough evidence they can point to that says I am the front runner. But they won't do this because I'm against the status quo, while the ones they promote are for the status quo. If people really knew the truth, I believe my numbers would soar."

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

RP can't restrain the urge to laugh sometimes.

I think it's very telling and a clear look into what RP thinks when he laughs at a question like at around 4:20 where the stupid interviewer finally gets around to an issue, and starts talking like the announced worldwide QE is good for jobs and the economy.

RP just laughs out loud, thinking to himself, "Are you f-ing crazy! This is the worst thing you can do, and you are saying it's good! Are you a lunatic?" Then of course he responds as a gentleman with the truth like he always does.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

First (& LAST) time I ever watched Piers "Hacker" Morgan

First (& LAST) time I ever watched Piers "Phone Hacker" Morgan. What an awful interviewer he is! No wonder CNN's tanking like crazy, with wet fish like him at the helm.

Of course, it was a painful interview simply because Hacker was asking personal questions about rival candidates rather than the issues. Did you notice how Dr. Paul livened up when he began talking about actual issues in the last minute and a half?

But issues is not what the MSM wants, is it?

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

Agreed

And he's their prime time guy now!!! That's the best they have to offer! Meanwhile MSNBC has Al Sharpton, who can barely read the cue cards. Not to be mean, but he reads so slowly he sounds like a stroke victim.

JOKE

Ron Paul did well but he of course is an intellectual heavy weight compared to this "journalist."

Ron Paul, as usual, demonstrated his class

Well everyone has already

Well everyone has already said anything I would have and more, so I will just bump with a thanks again for posting! :)

Paul basis his beliefs on history.

One thing I like about Ron Paul is that he basis his policy on historical evidence. He does not speculate. The historic evidence is that negative campaigning is essential to winning. I like the attack ads. They are part of a balanced, successful campaign. Good job Jesse.

It's not negative, but...

...truth ads. He's merely reporting on the track record of his opponent.

It's not "negative" at all.

The only person who would call it negative is the person being exposed, "How dare you tell the truth about my voting history! Why, you're being NEGATIVE. Shame on you!"

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Wow! What a ~JOURNALIST~ he is!

So, Dr. Paul is on for 6 minutes. He WASTES almost half asking about Herman Cain's affairs and Newt's media-staged "success." THEN, sets the tone with more Newt-praise claiming Paul's Gingrich attack ad is proof that Gingrich is the leader. FINALLY, he segues to the market performance today and seems unmoved by the FACTS! Hey, Piers, don't quit your day job! I wonder if maybe when the bottom falls out of this ponzi scheme, maybe Piers will be sitting by a hobo-camp campfire and send Dr. Paul a text saying "You know, you were absolutely right!" and then his blackberry battery dies and he chucks it in the boiling pail to see if it has any nutritional value. Forgetting that blackberry is just the brand name.

Ron did not look glad

to be suffering that fool.

Even compared to all the fools we've seen him suffer... Piers is abysmal.

Ick.

I'm voting for Peace.

That Delay...

Was terrible... I've seen shorter delays when they interview embedded journalists in Afghanistan..

great interview

Paul did a good job with answering the debt question, though if there was more time, he could explain what he means by getting rid of the debt and propping up.

Good job with the Cain question - I love his strategy to stay away from scandals that are below him and pointing out that it is not good for a nation to have a president that was with the Fed and wants more taxes.

He did well w/ questions on Newt as well, but I wish he would add Romney and Obama to the mix of flip flops. I got a little queasy when he was asked about his ads against Newt, as I don't think it is style to pinpoint Newt as a rival and go after him on a one-off basis about hypocrisy, especially when Newt is running a "positive campaign" and not going after anyone other than Obama. The Newt ads are not consistent with his style and message - this is the type of tactic that Obama and Romney would use against each other. Hopefully I am somewhat wrong and the ads will make Paul look tough instead of just transferring Newt votes to Romney.

I have had a flood of phone

I have had a flood of phone calls today from people I know who are not or have not been for Ron Paul who love the ad, so I don't see this as hurting him in any way. His campaign has been telling us that they were going to take the gloves off for awhile now, it's just now starting to come about. And great timing, too. First spread your message, then crush your opponents right at the end. For all the people who kept saying his campaign was clueless, it looks as if they know plenty enough to get the job done.

I was told by a couple of political science professors months ago that they each thought it would come down to Ron and Romney. Looks like they knew what they were talking about.

I like this. It's like someone told me today, "Oh, so I guess that Ron Paul guy actually does want to win... cool."

Piers should go back

and judge those talent contests. he is not fit to be a "news anchor" or reporter. he should write a gossip or agony aunt column somewhere !!

News is now entertainment not journalism - Ron spoke well

That interview shows what our news has become...some form of entertainment, not journalism....

Ron Paul handled himself great, like a President.

If the NEWS today was true journalism as it is meant to be, this election would be no contest, Ron Paul would be winning all polls, hands down leader.

"This isn't what the govern meant"

"Win the crowd and you will win your freedom"

Piers Morgan is taking on the

Piers Morgan is taking on the role of a gossip columnist it seems to me. He seemed more interested in eliciting backbiting
comments on the "also rans" than addressing the political platforms. Ron Paul handled the interview well I thought.

he's not the only elderly

he's not the only elderly British woman like that, a lot of them are gossipy.

here! here!

If Piers isnt a woman, I dont know who is!! :)

Yup

I could just hear Ron now, "...this is going to be a boring interview." Piers was more interested in scandals and such then having a decent interview and talking about Ron Paul.

Real eyes realize real lies

2012, we want our country back

2012 is the year for Ron Paul!

Not seeing this yet ... did Piers

Morgan implode with near contact with truth?
LOL.
