Republican Jewish Coalition Bars Ron Paul From Presidential Debate, Saying He's Too "misguided and extreme"

Paul was not invited to attend the RJC's candidates forum because the organization - as it has stated numerous times in the past - "rejects his misguided and extreme views," said [RJC Executive Director Matt] Brooks.

"He's just so far outside of the mainstream of the Republican party and this organization," Brooks said. Inviting Paul to attend would be "like inviting Barack Obama to speak."

Where is the coalition of

Where is the coalition of Jews that will stand against the RJC and protest against their ways. There is not much Ron Paul can say for himself -- or his "anti-semetic" supporters.

To a warmonger, peace is extreme

They didn't want Ron Paul messing with their preaching to the choir.

Not all jews are zionists

Before anyone brushes all jews with the same brush stroke, remember that there is a large and growing number of jews in the US and abroad that are against the neocons/zionists that control our foreign policy.

I recommend the following blog for an educated perspective on the issues:

Email the RJC

Here are some email addresses of leaders of the Republican Jewish Coalition for all of you who want to protest the fact that he has been banned from the debate.

Flood MSM with emails instead

How about flooding the MSM stations about this instead to help create this into big news?

I don't think it's a good idea to just assume that they will cover it up . . . even though I think they probably will.

I'm a Jewish American. I have

I'm a Jewish American. I have family that fought in WWII. I have family that survived the Holocaust, and family that did not. I have visited Israel, seen its many wonders with my own eyes. Israel is a wonderful place and I would be very sad if anything were to happen to it.

Like Ron Paul, I wish only the best for Israel. And like Ron Paul, I believe there is neither a pragmatic nor moral justification for following the dangerous foreign policies we've embarked on, and that includes those related to Israel.

Don't let these vile monsters get away with claiming they speak for the entire Jewish community. They sure as hell don't speak for me.

Blaming "Jews" for bad

Blaming "Jews" for bad Israeli policy is like blaming whites for bad American foreign policy....not really, but you get the point.

people don't understand what zionism means..

learn how to communicate.. not just talk to your choir.. ever learned anything from ron paul's tv appearance and constant advices here telling him to 'slow and simplify'? what you say has no meaning and it just sounds like a negative term to your general audience.. stop acting like an idiot mumbling stuff to self.. start communicating in normal, simple, regular human terms people actually use in daily lives, and that's not 'zion'.. who came up with the term anyway sounds like some idiotic crook teenster term out of the movie of matrix.. yes i know its references but i doubt the idiots who spam the term do

Try to

Think like neo-cons they want to provoke fights amongst all people to make us weaker. We don't really know who is calling the shots or what the purpose but I bet its not the "people"

May I remind you that..

Extremism in the defense of Liberty is no vice.

The VERY best comment in that article's comments area

Out of the 300 plus comments, and I read them all, this one is the VERY best, and one of the best I've see in a long time in any comment area.

Greetings to all my Jewish Sisters and Brothers,

I am an American of African descent and no one understands some of your painful experiences as I do. But as I share with many of my black family and friends so often, this is a different time and knowledge is increasing. People are beginning to look at issues more often and they are becoming less interested in focusing on special protections of "groups".

I consider myself a good judge of character and can spot bigotry and hate a mile away. Ron Paul is an honorable senior man. He is full of wisdom and had it not been for his commitment to educating the public about fractional reserve banking and the significance of a sound monetary system, I would not know how to properly fix my own financial house. Following the advice of many scamming banks and investors, I made poor choices in my life. One would have to a fool to dismiss his economic advice.

I met Ron Paul twice in 2007. I was so impressed with his humble and delicate speaking manor. He is a peaceful man. He realizes that the United States of America will have to defend itself and should always be prepared to defend itself. What he does not support is the US mingling in the affairs of other countries, regardless if that country is our friend or not. The US cannot afford to police the world even if it wanted to.

I can assure you that Paul does not have anything personal against Jews or any group. Accordingly, he shares a Libertarian point of view which is not collectivist. He places more importance on the individual and not a group of people. I realize that his way of thinking does appear strange to some of you because you see things from the group perspective. There is nothing that this man could have done to offend the Jewish Republican Coalition that it would ban him from the forum.

I can assure you that I would not support Paul if I thought there was anything bigoted about him. He isn't perfect but I see absolutely no reason to stop supporting his efforts and I hope that all of you would read his writings, research his history, and fairly consider why he doesn't support mingling in the affairs of such a beautiful sovereign country as Israel. I'm of African descent but America is my country and I would defend my country first before I would a country in Africa. It isn't to say that I don't care about the African countries but this is my home. Charity begins at home. If that is extreme, than I welcome the same attacks as Dr. Paul.

If Paul is truly anti-semetic

why wouldn't they want to put the dagger in his chest in front of our nation by inviting him and PROVE how bat shit crazy he is. All the "conservative" candidates could gang up on this front runner. That would actually be in their favor.
Understand that we support the champion of truth, and truth may take us to uncomfortable places. My friends......that may be what they fear. Also, please explain to your friends the meaning of isolationism because there is a lot of confusion....even among academics and political pundits!

Recently, I read a comment somewhere...

"The truth will set you free, but it'll probably piss you off first!"

Sorry for the lack of attribution, but heck, the truth is the truth, no matter who says it.

Freedom is my Worship Word!

A hard thing for people to understand with Israel is that it has very similar characteristics to that of America. There are many different views and beliefs. The common mistake that many people make is they look at the military action of Israel and its leaders, then assimilates it with Israel as a whole. Like I said before I am a Jew, I have no respect for a war criminal fascist pig like Benjamin Netanyahu. Nor do the people of Israel. The people of Israel are suffering from somewhat of a despotic rule and a military industrial complex that is eroding their civil liberties. The people of Israel suffer just like we do from an usurpation of authoritative rule. We have a much more powerful weapon Dr. Paul. What we fail to see is the effect that Ron Paul is having on politics. His effects are not confined to merely The United States. I have a cousin in Israel who heard Dr. Paul's message, and decided to bring Israeli Libertarianism as an activist against his own state, for the freedom of his people. Ron Paul's message is right. And every human being inherently know this, this is the reason for the strong opposition from the powers that be. They know Dr. Paul is right so they ignore him. Ron Paul is much bigger than a mere election he has changed us, forever changing the world. God Bless Dr. Paul for his courage, honor, and his message.

What the US mainstream media will not let us know!

I just found this video.Wanted to share,Israel is going through the same thing as we are here. They are not letting us know.

Israel Libertarian Protest

I'm trying to find ways to make this snubbing into something positive. What do you think about encouraging that Israel group to have a protest in Israel against what the RJC is doing?

Not that Ron Paul needs to be in that debate, but I think this snubbing by the RJC needs to become a huge event.

They have been successful to

They have been successful to keep RP going nowhere. Couple of them have infiltrated in to RP's organizer already and RP will be marginalized again like 2008.

Lou is totally faked. No blame on him. No body can resists ten of million dollar salary. He sold everything of his. Country and American people mean nothing to him so don't be mesmerized by his smooth talk! Keep going with RP.

The RJC makes Ron Paul sound

The RJC makes Ron Paul sound like all Jewish people think this way. That's not true.

The RJC is trying to make Ron Paul sound like he doesn't know what he is talking about.
What Ron Paul needs to do: Remind them, he sits on the foreign relations committee and he sees a lot of information. He knows what is going on. We're about to be ostracized throughout the entire middle east. It is time we stop and think about what is really going on and end our interventionist foreign policy.

Is this being televised?

Is this being televised?

I think ABC might have it.

This may actually make Dr. Paul look good again due to the snubbing he will receive. People will wonder what this group is trying to hide and look into Dr. Paul further...I hope anyway.

Not all Jews are Zionists!

As someone who has lots of extended family members who are Jewish I can say that Dr. Paul has LOTS of Jewish Support. It's important to remember that not all Jews are Zionists and the Republican Jewish Coalition is apparently a Zionist organization.

Whether the Republican Jewish Coalition admits it, likes it, or not, they do not and can not speak for the Jewish people. The RJC is doing nothing other than promoting self-destructive stereotypes and spewing Zionist propaganda.

There are many Jews who cherish their Constitutional rights and put their allegiance to the United States above that of Israel. One of the most effective and outspoken Second Amendment groups that I can think of is JFPO (http://jpfo.org/).

In fact, most of the Jewish people that I have contact with applaud Dr. Paul's opposition to the ever encroaching and all menacing police state with its Stasi-like TSA and these new fascist actions by the president and congress like the Patriot Act and implementing provisions for the indefinite detention of American citizens as is currently being considered.

I for one am appalled that even the Zionist Republican Jewish Coalition is not even concerned about the on-going "Hitler-esque" direction the current administration along with the neo-con "mainstream" Republicans are heading! This makes no good sense to me.

If they are only worried about the interests of Israel and how much money the American taxpayer sends to Israel, well, if that's not treason, I don't know what is!

Right! We are NOT anti-semitic in the slightest bit

and thanks for this post.

Hold a Jews for Ron Paul event the same evening.

Do something about it.

It would be great to see an event that same evening (right across the street) sponsored by the group Jews for Ron Paul.

Paul ante portas.

Tell them what you think...

My reply on their facebook wall

Blocking a frontrunner from entering the debates is an absolute travesty. Censorship of people just for differing views is a violation of the constitution and should not be taken lightly. The RJC is deeply afraid that Ron Paul will win this debate like he has won all the others despite getting 2 minutes to speak. You will see how this backfires when every media outlet gives Ron Paul interviews as a result of his ban from the debate.

For more information on this

For more information on this read, "The Israel Lobby" by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt. Great book I read a few years back.

My Comments and Thoughts to RJC...

The RJC obviously doesn't want a debate with questions and logic injected into it so that their extremely biased, narrow and totally selfish view of a world, which they feel should revolve around them first and foremost, would only serve to expose them for the hypocrites that they are.

I think it is high time that Israel defended their country themselves. God knows the tax payers of this country have sacrificed more than our fair share to help build Israel into one of the world's most powerful nations...even while ours continues to fall apart before our eyes.

I have just two questions for the people of Israel. One, when this country goes broke, will you be there to give us aid so generously as we have done for you? And two, WHEN we are totally broke, who will be your next Sugar Daddy?

"Liberty tastes sweetest to those who fight for it, and most bitter to those who work to deny it!"

I'll boycott that debate.

All the Deatheaters will be there.

Free includes debt-free!

This is absurd and the height

This is absurd and the height of irony. It is the Zionist who is extreme, and that includes Christian as well as Jewish Zionists. They have bullied and use the Holocaust to scare everyone into speaking out against Israel's policies.

So sick of this. I don't want us to give another penny to either Israel or its enemies.

Why can't be let go of the religious thing?
