Texas Congressman Ron Paul, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, seized 3rd in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters in the 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination with 8 percent of the votes. Mr. Paul tied pizza magnate Herman Cain, who also grabbed 8 percent of the votes. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich won the latest Rasmussen poll with 38 percent of the votes, defeating former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney by 21 percentage points.
Mr. Cain’s support is on the decline as allegations of sexual impunity continue to rock his campaign. At his New Hampshire campaign headquarters Wednesday night, Mr. Cain insisted that his campaign isn’t finished. “It ain’t over till its over, and it ain’t over yet,” Mr. Cain said, according to CBS News. “I do not make decisions based upon a knee jerk reaction,” Mr. Cain added.
