Let's Help Dr. Ron Paul Win Iowa in a Landslide!

Four years ago Iowa Caucus day took place on a Sunday.
Mike Huckabee used that to his advantage by placing his campaign buses in front of Churches and was able to win the state.

This time around Caucus day takes place on a Tuesday January 3rd.
Still I think people of faith will constitute a large voting block - we need to reach out to these people.
Handing out Super Brochures while saying Merry Christmas is one of the ways. Placing these Brochures on Church community boards is another.

Here is a list of Church congregations in Iowa:

We can also distribute Super Brochures during sporting events.

Ron CAN win Iowa.

Iowa is absolutely a win-able state, caucus states like that play to Ron's strength of a solid and motivated base. I would go caucus if I lived there..but I don't. Please go caucus!! Get everyone to go!! I'm not sure if you have to be a republican to caucus in Iowa or not, if so, make sure you register! Go caucus!!! I can't emphasize this enough, YOU MUST GO!!!

Yes

But winning Iowa in a landslide would vastly improve Ron's chances the rest of the way.

I am aiming at a landslide win - Ronslide (remember Randslide in KY?)

Also

If you live are in Iowa could you please find out where the caucus locations will be and post them?

found this

Tuesday 3 January 2012: Republican Party Caucuses meet in each precinct at 7:00 pm CST. Each Precinct Caucus chooses the precinct's delegates to the County Convention.

There is no formal system applied in the Precinct Caucuses to relate the presidential preference of the Caucus participants to the choice of the precinct's delegates to the Republican Convention of the County in which the precinct is located. The participants at each Precinct Caucus alone determine if presidential preference is to be a factor in such choice and, if so, how it is to be applied.

Will look for more info...

Quote:
Where are the caucuses located?
Iowans gather by party preference in designated schools, public buildings or in private homes. Efforts are being made to move caucus locations into public buildings. The caucus location is determined by the County Chairs of each political party for all 1,784 precincts. The exact location is determined by the expected turn-out of each precinct and by availability.

Thank you

I think independents and dems can Caucus in Iowa.
Not 100% sure about dems but I am sure independents can.

From what I remember 4 years ago the local RP campaign had a computer disc with over 17,000 identified RP supporters in Iowa out of which I think 11,000 actually took part in the Caucus for the good doc (transportation problems & some people actually forgot to vote that day).
We have at least doubled Ron's support this time around and I think about 35-40,000 votes should be enough to win IA.
110,000 are expected to vote.

Gigi you rock!

We are 30 days away from the Big day...I was just thinking this morning that praying for a snowstorm in Iowa on its Caucus day is not the only thing we could do.
Actually one high ranking GOP official in Iowa was quoted by local newspaper saying: "if there is a snowstorm on Caucus day Ron Paul wins"
