Well, let's face it ... any candidate who supports gun control does not support liberty. It's as simple as that. They should not fear us owning firearms. What does that say about them and what they believe if they do? It's not out of favor for the "greater good" ... it's out of fear of what type, race and class of man the majority of (legal) gun owners are. They also know that if we would ever get our act together entirely, that we pose the only "real" opposition they would face in their quest for totaltarianist communism.

...I have been wondering for MONTHS Now when Ron Paul and/Or his Many Supporters were going to start HAMMERING Newt/Mitt on the 2nd AMD RIGHTS ISSUE???

its so OBVIOUSLY a STRONG HAND for Ron Paul...and A VERY WEAK HAND for BOTH Newt/Mitt that is seems a No Brainer to me.

And lets face it GUN RIGHTS are one of those issues that are just DEAL BREAKERS for Many "red State" Conservatives that would probably never really listen to (or Understand) Ron Paul on many other issues.

HAMMERING Newt/Mitt on GUN RIGHTS...seems like a GAME CHANGER IMHO In Places like S.C. where Ron Paul is currently not doing that well.

I understand what your saying, and yes I too feel as you do about 2nd amendment rights. That being said I feel that Ron is playing the long game here, he knows that should he win the election he is going to be counting on a lot of people who voted for Obama coming out to vote Republican. Guns are just another one of those things that could scare them away. "Guns and pot just don't mix" LOL. Also in my humble opinion anyone passionate enough about guns to switch a vote over it probably cares enough to get on the internet and find out if their candidate supports 2nd amendment rights. I think the best thing would be if Bachmann seeing the writing on the wall would go down swinging at Romney and Newt over Gun Rights.
