Day of Prayer for Dr. Ron Paul Sunday December 11

Friends of Liberty!

We held countless Money Bomb fundraiser days for Dr. Ron Paul.
Sign waving days and many other one day activist events.
But we never held a Day of Prayer for the good doctor.

Thinking about George Washington's prayer at the Valley Forge gave me this idea.

I found an inspirational video:

The Liberty Movement led by Dr. Ron Paul is a big tent. We all came together to be part of one family. May we ask God to help us restore the Republic.

I'm in too.

I pray for him daily.

Electable Ron Paul is my hero.

I also pray for Ron each day,

I also pray for Ron each day, but I like the idea.
A day of prayer for Ron, each Sunday till Jan 3 maybe.

"Give me Liberty or give me death." Patrick Henry

I just found this quote

"We must no longer see prayer as preparation for action. Prayer must be understood as action itself, a way of responding, a potent spiritual weapon to be used in spiritual warfare against the most powerful forces in the world. Prayer is not undertaken instead of other actions, but as a foundation for all the rest of the actions we take" -- Jim Wallistest

freedom...

truly does bring us together :)

Majestic!

Happy to participate and forward good spirit.

Is there a designated time also, LL?

Thank you and everyone who posted comments here

To answer your question.

Prayers and positive vibrations have started and they are to continue all day long.

I did not set a specific time of the day when the praying should be more intense.
People can pray alone or with loved ones and friends...

To inspire I will post some samples of prayers done by the Founding Fathers.

There is no limit in regards to how much or how little one can pray.
Prayers can come from all over the world - no need for American ZIP code.

Atheist and Agnostic brothers and sisters in Liberty are free to choose their own course of action.
Positive vibes do matter - all loving thoughts directed toward Dr. Ron Paul do matter.

A Prayer for the Nation

Almighty God, Who has given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech Thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of Thy favor and glad to do Thy will. Bless our land with honorable ministry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people, the multitude brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endow with Thy spirit of wisdom those whom in Thy name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that through obedience to Thy law, we may show forth Thy praise among the nations of the earth. In time of prosperity fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in Thee to fail; all of which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you!

I'm definitely in.

Great video! Maybe I'll even head over to the woods at Valley Forge (15 minutes away) to pray.

That's the spirit

Reading your comment gave me goose bumps...
there are probably tons of Ron Paul supporters in your area.

Myself I will pray and also focus on positive thoughts direct these thoughts toward Iowans people living there and the corn fields...might compose a poem for Iowans.

Sounds good!

I think the intentionality that goes into making a poem or music strengthens the prayer. That's how we got hymns, and psalms being sung.

so true

So true.

I often feel closer to God when composing poetry.
Here is an example of a poem I wrote while feeling like I could almost touch His fingertips:

Prayers should be specific, from the heart, and not by rote

Hey, first off, there's no general rule book for how to pray. But just speaking from experience, prayers work miracles a lot better if what you're asking for is specific and put in your own personal, sincere, urgent words rather than by rote.

If you can't envision something in your mind (like you're not sure exactly what "restoring the republic" entails exactly), then it's too vague. What do you want precisely? Do you want Ron Paul to win each primary, to then win the nomination, and to then win the Presidency? Then pray these specific detailed requests on the night before and day each is happening, while envisioning the precise result you want to occur.

For instance, on the day of each primary, envision angels on the side of each voting booth sending each vote for Ron Paul straight to God to collect and hold safe. Then envision these angels holding out their arms and blocking the switching and siphoning of votes that YOU KNOW is being planned in those Diebold machines. (Yes, this is the elephant in the room, but it needs to be addressed. You saw it happen last time, folks -- the votes for Ron Paul actually going backwards in screenshots.)

Then look forward in your mind and see Ron Paul being announced as the #1 Winner on TV and in news articles; see him smiling with joy and accepting, and the people cheering as he wins each primary, each nomination, each win, each victory, every step of the way.

Aside from visualization, what also makes prayer even more effective is when it's done by a multitude of people at once, which propels a powerful, collective Universal Mind effect. A great book to read on the subject of prayer in general is "The Miracle of Prayer" by Rosemary Ellen Guiley.

Of course, prayer must be coupled with action – Campaign and Convert using every medium available.

NOTE: The media is 'priming' us to accept a #2 or #3 placing and trying to placate us by acknowledging Ron Paul in the 'top tier' finally. I've seen people cheering this when they shouldn't be -- because this is an insidious PSYOP. Anything other than #1 is absolutely unacceptable. Nor do I believe there has been any such ‘surge’ of Newt Gingrich support, as is now being claimed by the media. Again, #1 for Ron Paul is what we want, and let no evil stand in the way!

Just an FYI: guv perr has

Just an FYI: guv perr has launched a new ad re the "War on Religion of the prez and the guv's Christian faith". Article in Austin Statesman had many comments, one of which I saved and on which I commented, as follows:
"Your comment, Baron of G, is worthy of my saving. Sounds like something my dad would have said re "witnessing for his Christian faith."

"Christ never once lobbied either the Jewish or Roman governments to pass laws against sin. Why? Christ didn’t have faith in government. He had faith in himself, both as the Son of God, and as a simple man, whose words and actions changed more lives than all the legislation that has since passed. So-called “Christian Conservatives” who put their faith in government solutions to spiritual problems are neither Christian, nor Conservative."

Not intended to be negative in ANY way. To me, this just seemed to be a powerful statement...

Prayer is definately never wasted.

This is a great idea.

For those who don't believe in the power of prayer, please just send good vibes. Please don't tear down our prayers.

May Dr. Paul and his family have divine protection and guidance.

well said Debbie

I am starting to pray right now.
After this debate I need it more than anything.

If you won't pray in my school,

I won't think in your church. Deal?

Why should anyone think in your school?

Schools aren't for thinking, they are for government-crafted indoctrination.

Or course, nowadays, many of the churches are, too.

All schools aren't public.

And I've never heard of a gov't message in a biochemistry or physiology class...
