Prop-up another candidate?Submitted by dvalukis on Wed, 12/07/2011 - 07:03
I hope I'm not alone here... But wouldn't it be interesting if we all voted for a 2nd/3rd tier candidate in ALL online polls. Whether it's about a debate victor, "Who will win Iowa", and so on... Let's admit, there's plenty of Paul supporters out there that are going to vote for him in these polls.
So what if we concentrated on one candidate in particular like Pawlenty? Where it could be conceivable that mainstream accepts the guy and that there might be an "internet buzz" about him. I think Pawlenty would be the perfect guy to try to prop up. I'm just thinking about this because it's gotten out of control on how these poll numbers are based. Newt only has 27 of the necessary 40 delegates for NH, so even if he wins, technically he doesn't. ? Something like that. And he's not even on the ballot in Missouri? Half his staff quit in July, I think. I mean, come on.
Clearly the polls reflect a crude amount of surfacy-ness and this gives way to irrational banter between pundits. Idk, I just think it would be cool if we could all decide on somebody to "poll bomb"
