Ruminating about the Tea Party's comedic actSubmitted by HVACTech on Wed, 12/07/2011 - 18:56
I don't even think William Shakespeare could have written as funny a Shakespearean Comedy that is playing out with the Tea Party Candidates in their race for the GOP Presidential Nomination. Similar to the surreal comedy, "Midsummer Night's Dream" the GOP Campaign Trail has provided us the backdrop for entertainment from the four bumbling Tea Party idiot actors: Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry and Herman Cain. Herman Cain has learned the difficulty of love, despite his best alleged attempts to spread his love potion in several directions, as expressed by Lysander, "The course of true love never did run smooth." Love, however, was probably just the final straw and the least of Cain's problems as he and the three other aforementioned actors frequently stumbled, as if they were high on magic fairy dust (mixed with bourbon in Perry's Case), while they attempted to bluff answers to basic but important questions regarding foreign policy, war versus peace and use of torture.
