Jon Stewart on the Republican Jewish Coalition Forum and Dr. Paul's Exclusion

Thanks AGAIN to The Daily Show!

Jon just did another great piece on the Republican Jewish Coalition Forum, pointing out at the end Ron's exclusion noting "Good call not inviting any presidential candidates to your forum who might 'disagree' with you. Wouldn't want to turn it into a 'debate'. You know, if there's one thing Jews can't stand...it's 'arguing'."

Atta boy, Jon!

Just like the media, they chose to censor, (Blackout), Ron Paul. If any of the other candidates were true Ametricans they wouldn't have went and took part in this. They should have refused to go without Dr. Paul. However, this is dog eats dog, and shows us once again that there are no true Amricans, other then Ron Paul running in this 2012 Republican election... Jon nailed it when he said that those involved with this coalition, didnt want some one there that may disagree with them....Hmmm, isn't a debate designed to determine if you agree or disagree with a candidate?
America has changed over the last 40 years, and not for the better. We need to really get to work supporting Ron Paul in 2012...

P.S. we should support the

P.S. we should support the daily show by going and liking it's facebook page! I left a comment for Jon, it would be a nice jester if we all did....

What's funny to me is that

What's funny to me is that Benjamin Netanyahu is saying some of the same things as Dr. Paul.

This isn't anti-semitism,

This isn't anti-semitism, it's a war against agendas.

The only "extremists" are the warmongers.

I love the Daily Show. I try

I love the Daily Show. I try to frequent their website to thank them for great episodes like this. They have been revealing the exclusion of Paul really well in the past few weeks. They also do us a huge favor every time they point out the hypocrisy of Obama like they used to do with Bush. They are truly Americans over there with an all too rare respect for civil liberties. One of the few shows that consistently raises criticism of the PATRIOT Act.

Great video! One suggestion:

Great video! One suggestion: can you allow the text tiles to remain up for a few more seconds each? They go by a bit fast to read and way too fast to read and think at the same time for people who don't know RP's policies.

Good job.

Awesome video!

Awesome video!

That is a fine piece of work...

I tip my hat to you Sir.

Great find on that Netanyahu clip. It totally vindicates what Dr. Paul has been saying about Israel. People can't dismiss it as easily when they hear it in an Israeli's own words. We need more of these clips to piece together.

I'm curious, does anyone know how to research to find video or audio footage from 1981 when Dr. Paul spoke out against the reseolution condemning Israel over bombing Iraq's reactors? C-Span started in 1979 and the House of Representatives was open to filming at that point according to Wikipedia.

These types of clips are just so powerful.

Nice video, I am sharing on facebook.

Jews love to argue. lol

Jews love to argue. lol Bachman will spend millions moving an embassy. This crap is so wrong. I am really ashamed of what these Jewish people did to Ron. I was raised Jewish, and can not believe such exclusion is even an acceptable idea to them.

It's all about 'Talking Points'

with these GOP candidates - they use them to get elected.

Abolishing the Dept. of Education was a popular 'Talking Point' for the GOP for a good two decades (1980-2000). When it was perceived that it didn't get the people excited, they dropped it - so how likely was it that ANYTHING would have been done regarding the Dept. of Ed had these empty-suits been elected?

Same goes with Israel, abortion, marriage, etc. They use these hot buttons as 'Talking Points' with no intention to do anything about them once elected.

Ron Paul is different - he takes a stand and never lets it go, no matter how unpopular the 'Talking Point' has become.

The man has a conscience.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Direct link now added from The Daily Show

I had to wait for the actual clip to post on Comedy Central today...enjoy :-)

You can't talk about cutting minimum wage with a black person

and NOT be called a racist (or get deeply suspected of being one)

And you cannot talk about cutting aid to Israel and NOT be called antisemitic (or get deeply suspected of being one)

Thus, you have two choices, Brave on AHEAD, or retreat from the issue.

I choose to brave on ahead.

Now for the black and jewish among us, you could help us all out MORE THAN YOU REALIZE by taking up these issues yourself and then we will support you. By You being black or jewish allows the listener to at least listen to the economics of the discussion rather than sitting there with deep suspicions about your "real" intentions.

There is a word for these

There is a word for these Republican candidates and that word is sycophant. If you don't know what that means, I will put it this way. It is a description of an individual who is happy to kiss someon's ring (or some other part of someone's anatomy) in order to curry favor.

That was funny.

the video is on thedailyshow.com in the videos section

Did this really get pulled from the front page?

Are the others running for Israeli Prime Minister?

I thought they were supposed to be running for the US's President... but it did not seem that way.

What a bunch of slimy panderers.

"If there's one thing Jews

"If there's one thing Jews can't stand, it's arguing."

I hope I misread this because it almost sounds like this blogger made an anti-semitic comment. Maybe he was being sarcastic but I'm not 100% sure.

Having been a screenwriter in hollywood (although I worked in a legal department for a movie studio and haven't, yet, sold a script), they LOVE negotiating, telling stories, and crafting jokes.

They're (yes, it's a generalization) strong on the oral tradition. Both the legal profession and the writing profession attract them. Without them, our American culture would be unrecognizable.

No, they aren't all the same, but the ones who do like "arguing" often prepare "oral arguments" for judges or audiences.

Yes, it was a joke.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Obviously you are not Jewish ;)

You never had a jewish gramma, or for that matter apparently have never seen a Woody Allen movie

Its fine, its a stereotype but not considered insulting

watch the video

He is quoting Jon Stewart, who is Jewish, so no it is not anti-Semitic.. It is a joke lighten up. Heaven forbid someone makes a joke about Jews..

Oy! Lighten up.

It's obviously a quote from Stewart. Sheesh!

Even if the blogger said that, it is not anti-semitic.

What you said is almost insane.

With a comment like that, how are you a Libertarian?

Also, I would ask that you study your use of labels. Very few Jews in Israel today are Semites. Semitic refers to an ancient language, the VAST majority of Semite descendants alive today are African and Arabian, and the word anti-semitism was actually coined by a an author in the 1800s that hated jews! So in reality, it is you that is using jew hating rhetoric!!

Knowledge can be so ironic...

why do you use this phrase

why do you use this phrase "anti Semitic"? After all, Arabs are Semites too.

While that may be technically true

How many Americans know that?

We should be as civil as possible not technical as possible imho.
