In order to beat Obama the Republicans need Ron Paul as President or Vice President

There's a very good chance that if for whatever reason Ron Paul doesn't get the Republican party's nomination, whoever the nominee is will have no choice but to put Ron as their VP because if they don't, they'll lose all the Ron Paul votes and Obama will get reelected.

Bottom line: Strategically speaking, Ron Paul needs to be President or Vice President in order to unseat Obama.

The VP thing

is almost funny to even contemplate.

Just imagine having RP playing 2nd fiddle to one of the other candidates out there, or even anybody else from the establishment political arena.

Here's some comical reality of what it might look like.
"Stalin/Ghandi 2012"
"Hitler/MLK 2012"
"Mao-Tse-Tung/Mother Teresa 2012"
"Caligula/Dali-Lama 2012"

LOL!

I simply don't think that is even in the realm of possibility. There is nobody that could take the headliner position over Ron Paul, and have any credibility.

The real truth is that if RP isn't the nominee, Obama will win.

If Ron Paul was Vice President ...

The establishment would pull a "Weekend with Bernie" before they would allow Paul within a mile of the Oval Office.

I have faith that Ron would

I have faith that Ron would reject any VP offer from any of his current opponents. Why would he want his name tied in with their future deceptions and betrayals?

Now...

If there's a brokered convention and someone like Peter Schiff emerges as the GOP's Presidential candidate, then yes, Ron should accept the VP slot - LOL, that's a no-brainer.

Only the acceptance of the truth can defeat systemic evil.

I hear ya

But considering that this is the last time Ron will ever run for political office, it would be great to have him in government for another 4 years just to keep the government in check.

Plus, he would have a pretty big podium as the Vice President of America.

I obviously want him to be President, and I think he will be but in the worst case scenario, I think the Republican party will have no choice but to give him the Vice President position.

Let's hope its the latter....
