Ron Paul DialectSubmitted by phenn on Sun, 12/11/2011 - 10:25
First, I would like to provide the exact meaning of dialect from the dictionary..
[dahy-uh-lekt] Show IPA
Linguistics . a variety of a language that is distinguished from other varieties of the same language by features of phonology, grammar, and vocabulary, and by its use by a group of speakers who are set off from others geographically or socially.
Secondly, I would like to say that I think when you put us all in the same room, we understand each other very well and we fortify our commitment to Ron Paul.
But what about those who don't speak in the terms we approve of, but in their own way, support what Dr. Paul has said? Everyone is at a different stage of the learning curve and we should not be so critical if those who still moving towards us, this is how we convince NEW people to come our way.
Case in point. A Forbes reporter wrote an article on the debate. Like most writers who aren't in the Paul camp already, some shots hit the target, some didn't.
He was immediately dogpiled and "helped" by Paul fans. he responds on his own article and showed frustration telling the people that his article was positive, which I viewed as positive, but some others didn't.
I could see how a writer could think we were rude and arrogant, and I think we need to take a step back at times and "coax" and "support" rather than dogpile.
