Brought to tears

I sit here with tears streaming down my cheeks.

THIS IS HOW WE DEFEAT THE NEO-CONS.

Interesting

This was specifically designed to demonstrate the Golden Rule, and why any other approach does not work. In other words, it is aimed at the war hawks.

Presumably, the people at DK are not war hawks, and they already agree with the message.

Maybe we should re-make it substituting "Democrats or Republicans" for "Chinese or Russians." Substitute votes for violence (because many votes are violent via government action), and you begin to see why (L)libertarians represent the best approach to peace and prosperity, and why freedom brings us together.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

All publicity is good...

... publicity.

This brilliant ad is opening the minds of people we normally would not reach easily. Obviously there are die hard lefties who will criticize it, but we can live with that. No need to abuse them or start an argument. "Those persuaded against their will are of the same opinion still."

More importantly is the fact that the uninformed, the brainwashed lemmings are being exposed too truths they did not even know existed. This made my day.

"us Lefties"? Daily Kos are not nice people, or honest.

quote from Daily Kos article: "This is not about getting Ron Paul elected, because republicans absolutely hate him and will never give him the nomination."

What are they protecting Republicans for? I rarely go to Daily Kos. I think this is my third time I have gone, following a link from someone on Daily Paul. I am always offended, and this was no different.

I'm making this post to remind myself, if I want to RUIN my day, check out Daily Kos. It's nothing but MEAN MEAN MEAN angry HATE-FILLED ARROGANT people. The post and thread have me shaking with sadness and remorse.

Daily Kos is not a site for nice people, be warned. That was my final visit. Gosh, it was like decending into Hell.

They are NOT protecting Republicans.

The Democratic establishment is TERRIFIED of Ron Paul. They talk a good story about being against the wars and for the environment, but they are just as in bed with the banks, big pharma, big oil and the MIC as the GOP.

like RedState but with more posts

Kos is just a step above democraticunderground (now that is a cesspool!) and for all intents is just a larger version of RedState for the far left. They suffer from the same tunnel vision and hypocritical positions. And they are just as nasty to people who do not stay in line.

I might add, there are some here on DP who exhibit similar intolerance - I hope they remain the minority. Echo chambers are boring.

The OP

is giving props for RP telling the truth. At least he has the intellectual honesty and integrity to do that.

He can't control all the others on Daily Kos....and nor should he.

"...the basic construct of electoral pressure..."

This is great. 400+ comments, 100+ "likes" so far.

A lot of discussion.

My favorite comment:

"[the video] warrants exposure, and if it gains support for Ron Paul in general, it's up to Obama and the Democratic leadership to figure that out and act accordingly.

"So many of us here pay mere lip service to the concept of putting pressure on Obama, while at the same time bending over backwards to assure him our votes are guaranteed.

"Here's what pressure is, and how it works:
If you feel passionately that your elected official is on the wrong side of a vital issue, you use whatever tools are available to you to promote the policy you prefer and hope that your vision takes root among the electorate. It's only when the demand for a change in policy direction begins to threaten reelection prospects does the elected official have that come-to-Jesus moment.

"Kossacks [Daily Kos] are brilliant about a lot of things, but the basic construct of electoral pressure eludes far too many."

Paul ante portas.

Ron Paul IS NOT A LEFTIST TOOL

Talk about plotting opportunists....Daily Kos is a hive of them.

A vote, is vote, is a vote.

Paul needs to get past the primary. If you believe that he can beat Obama like I do, I don't care about the purity of ones motives in voting for Ron Paul - I care only that they are voting for Ron Paul.

Every voter is entitled to his or her own reasons for casting a ballot.

Paul ante portas.

Only REGISTERED Republicans will get on Paul past the Primary

No one on Daily Kos has any intention at all for supporting who they are calling RACIST OLD MAN.

They have every intention in taking his deas for their own.

Two words: Blue Republicans

Paul ante portas.

Yes,

it's funny in a way. "Left" or "Right" in a system like ours means there are only a couple of degrees of seperation.

In the end we will all sink or swim together....

Yeah,

that one kind of "snaps" the picture into focus, doesn't it?

I believe the campaign has spent the money very well.

Spread some love!

Ron Paul 2012!

Edit: You know, I would think that lots of lefties would love that ad and be supportive and vote for RP because of the economic common sense involved in his foreign policy also.

I mean, since war is essentially just a tax, it is therefore capital misallocated away from things like, oh, say, employers' ability to invest it back into their businesses to buy equipment, hire labor, wages, etc.

Lefties do want jobs and wages, correct? But without the capital being left in the hands of the individual(s), savings and investment simply cannot occur.

Just something to bear in mind....
