IDAHO: First ever Idaho Republican Party Presidential Straw Poll Jan 6, 2012

http://idgop.org/youre-invited-to-the-first-ever-idaho-gop-p...

Idaho has 32 delegates to the Republican Convention, more than Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada or about 30 other states.

Idaho joins many other states with their first ever Republican Party closed caucuses on Super Tuesday March 6, 2012

From what I have heard

the campaign needs to pay the entry fee to be on the ballot.

Note there are mail-in ballots!

Idaho has a closed Caucus now?

I just moved to Northern Idaho (near CDA) a year ago and I need to make sure I know what to do come spring to vote for Ron Paul. Is it true Idaho just switched to a closed caucuses? I thought you didn't have to select a party in Idaho. I don't remember having to choose a party when I registered to vote last year.

Have you joined the Meetups?

Or search SW Idahoans for Liberty on Facebook. Get in touch with all the local Ron Paul supporters.

Yup...

This year's legislative session closed the process, but you can register Republican at the caucus and then switch to something else afterwards (if you really wanna). If I'm not mistaken, Idaho gave the doc his largest percentage of votes in '08 out of all 50 states...that is according to what Paul said at BSU last year during a speech. IDAHO LOVES RON PAUL!!!!!!

So no Primaries in Idaho anymore?

Wait I am confused... So there is no longer a primary in Idaho anymore? If I need to sign up for the Republican party that is fine. I just want to make sure I do it in time to vote.

Idaho Caucus

Because our primary isn't until May, they have decided to hold a caucus in every county on Super Tuesday in March - we'll actually be part of the big day this time! It is only for the Presidential nomination. You can register as republican the day of voting. Here's a page with some info about it. http://idgop.org/presidential-caucus-faq/
