Plan B or Plan A part 2 if Ron Paul winsSubmitted by rxgrote on Sun, 12/11/2011 - 15:22
There is a need for a Plan B and even Ron Paul's message requires it.
Please give consideration to the following. This is important whether Ron Paul wins or not and actually MORE if he wins. Linked to a long read but very important. For all of you agnostic and atheist Ron Paul supporters(I used to be one), PLEASE don't trivialize or discount this.
United States presidential candidates are lined up giving their best show again. Each party is offering both conservative and liberal candidates. Despite the promises and rehearsed rhetoric of planned political platforms the opposite has often taken place during the subsequent administrations until less than 40% of the people even bother to vote.
I recently saw a man holding a large sign that read “Doctor Ron Paul cured my apathy.”
There can be little doubt that Mr. Paul has stirred a passionate hope in some Americans. Jon Stewart, from Comedy Central, recently commented to Dr. Paul in an interview, “You appear to have consistent principled integrity.... Americans don't usually go for that?”
Unfortunately, the truth of this humorous quip about the American political scene may be all too true in the foretelling of Ron's greatest weakness as a candidate in our modern society. Paul makes people think about more than properly packaged political pablum. He gives them facts and tells them the truth. But do Americans really want to think? Can they handle the truth?
