Why does MSM always ask if Dr. Paul will run as a third Party Candidate?

They also know that other republican candidate's have absolutely NONE!
They never ask Mitt: Mitt would you run as a third party candidate if you
don't win the republican nomination? Why don't they ask him?? Simple they
know he wouldn't get 2% of the vote on his own! He and the others are
nothing without the anointment process of the party.
Dr. Paul on the other hand has nothing but Huge grass roots support that
will continue to grow like wild fire every day. That support will lead to
a successful third party run if necessary, and everyone knows it.
They are afraid of Ron Paul! As they should be

And want Obama elected. They know a third party run will do that.
That and a three man race will get more ratings.

reason they ask,is because they are trying to put doubt about Rons electability into viewers minds.
They are doing everything they can to stop Ron.This will be the first presidential primary election that the media does NOT control the elections outcome. THE INTERNET is now a factor and the MSM does not know how to deal with it.

You notice they also always call Him a Libertarian also and that also puts doubt in the minds of the masses. You will notice this the longer You see how the media works and how sheep are easily brain washed.
I think
one reason is he won't commit to supporting any other candidate if he doesn't get the nomination.

Ron Paul already ran as a third party candidate in 1988. He ran as the Libertarian candidate.
Libertarian party = Third party

As long as people who refuse to join the GOP because of MSM lies, MSM gives them HOPE Ron Paul will go Indy, thus, they are waiting for those of us who joined the GOP to FAIL.
Ron Paul is not going to let those of us who joined the GOP down, not for those that don't have the brain, heart or guts to join us.

Would it harm RP's chances to rule out a third party run?
If I remember correctly, he ruled out a nuclear first strike on Iran, so he can talk in absolutes, but he won't rule out a third party run. I don't get it. Is he cultivating an image as an independent or putting fear into the RNC or is he actually keeping his options open? One thing's for sure, he's giving fodder to establishment Republican to argue that RP's not true, and wasting a ton of interview time.

I don't know what they are thinking, but it may well backfire against them. The truth is, many Ron Paul supporters, including me, will not vote for the "lesser of two evils". I will vote third party if RON PAUL is not the GOP nominee. And so will a lot of other Ron Paul supporters.
None of the other Republican candidates have a solid base. Their whole strategy is to convince the voters that they are the alternative to Obama. And that's exactly what the Insiders have done for decades. Give us a choice of two candidate, either of whom they can depend on. There really isn't much difference.
The last real threat to them was Barry Goldwater. And the Rockefeller Republicans did everything they could to sabotage his campaign. Ron Paul is definitely a threat to the GOP Establishment, and I do not put anything beyond them!
RON PAUL is the ONLY candidate who can beat Obama. This is because only Ron Paul has substantial support outside the Republican Party. The Republican Establishment knows this, but they will sell out their party and run Gingrich or some other loser - if they can. It's not about winning to them. It's about delivering a candidate who is not a threat to the agenda of the special interests. And Ron Paul IS that threat.
