BOYCOTTS DO WORK!!! Don’t Let Naysayers on This Forum or Any Other Tell You They Won’t.

For those who are too young or don’t know the history of the Civil Rights movement may not remember Rosa Parks who ignited the VERY SUCCESSFUL Alabama Bus Boycott.

Our goal is to make sure Ron Paul is our next president, in order to take back so many of our lost freedoms that have been usurped by the federal government.

If you believe strongly enough in this goal, you should be willing to give up some of your favorite products, to voice your opposition to who they support not with there dollars, but with your hard earned dollars.

It’s not like you have to walk miles as those in Alabama did. All you have to do to make your voice heard is stop throwing your money at companies who use it to support what you do not believe in. Now why would any one in their right mind continue to do that?

Read the following to see that boycotts do work if enough people believe strongly enough in the goal.

We Just want Fair Coverage

The only reason people have no faith in the boycott

is because they know the Corp. have gone global to get around this. This is kind of funny because the boycott could go global also. We already have a global movement started and these people are even more hungry for this movement than we are. Looks like its time for a boycott meetup group. we need to start with one per country I recomend the name be Sons of liberty. and each country would be called accordingly.
Sons of the united states (R.E.G.)
Sons of China (R.E.G.)
Sons of japan (R.E.G.)
Sons of Mexico (R.E.G.)
Sons of Canada (R.E.G.)

It's mission could be three fold:

Religious - speak out for peoples right to choose their belief freely
Economic - fight the powers that be through pulling people together (through boycotting)
Government - pull together to promote and support people that agree with freedom and denounce those who appose it.

R.E.G. would be a world wide movement that would gain world wide power to be used for the good of the individual worldwide.

It would take time to build up so it would be after the primaries.

The ultimate goal for these

The ultimate goal for these people is for there to be one world government with one global government-owned corporation to provide all goods and services. Then they'll have us all over a barrel.

----------
The opposite of freedom is slavery; if I am 99% free, then I am part slave, which is like being "a little bit pregnant." Freedom versus slavery is a zero-sum game.

I also think pressuring the GOP in NH

To stop the event would be a good thing.. Other campaigns should be asked to support us against fox.. it could be them next time...

Right now we have the option to use our dollars

to voice our opposition to Fox and those companies who advertise on Fox.

However, unless we use this power now, due to our eroding economy, we may not be able to do so in the future.

We will however, not be buying these products, not by choice, but because we will no longer be able to afford them.

Our main concern by then, will be keeping a roof over our head(s), food on the table and gas in the family car...in order to get to work, for those who are still lucky enough to have a job.

So when you say that you don't see how you can give up this or that, just think about the giving up you may have to do down the road, if Ron Paul is not our next president.

fox (NWS)

the best responce to being excluded is for Dr Ron Paul to finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the Iowa cacus. Egg all over their face.

Finally

A voice of reason !!!

Why are you so against

boycotts? You are trolling every post that is for a boycott.

Voters

BECUASE THEIR EMPLOYEES AND STOCK HOLDERS ARE "VOTERS" IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS SHIT, WAIT UNTIL THE PRIMARIES ARE OVER..I HAVE TWO NEIGHBORS THAT WORK FOR BK AND MAY VOTE FOR PAUL..WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THEY HEAR PAUL SUPPORTERS ARE BOYCOTTING THEM..YOU SEEM TO HAVE A GOOD HEART BUT A POOR BRAIN FUNCTION

And just what would have happened to the Civil Rights

movement if the majority of those involved thought as you do?

I'll tell you, they would still be sitting in the back of the bus.

In order to advance change, some need to be willing to sacrifice.

Our founders knew this...they definitely had a lot to loose and so did the leaders of the Civil Rights movement.

And I'm sure some who are employed by these companies may also know. I wouldn't be so negative about these boycotts and who won't be supporting Ron Paul, you just may be surprised. We the Peolpe may be smarter than we are being credit for.

WINNING

Right now my concern is winning this election..Pissing off people will not help that..getting DR Paul in the WH will do far more for my civil rights than not eating at Burger King !

Speaking of being pissed off.

Just how do you know who will and who won't be pissed off and why?

Right now we know that the campaign is pissed off. Ron Paul supporters are pissed off.

Mr. Cullen of the NH Republican party does not agree with what Fox is doing.

Most Americans believe in fair play. Therefore, you may be surprised about who people are pissed off at...

All Ron Paul supporters want is a level and fair playing field and I believe most Americans would agree, whether they support him or not. This is something Fox is not willing to do by excluding him from their forum.

Fox has given us lemons. So all we plan to do is make "lemonade."

Another Successful Boycott

Calls to boycott French products in 2003 may have cost French winemakers $112 million in sales in the United States, say Larry Chavis and Phillip Leslie. Based on their study of scanner data from supermarkets and large stores, the researchers conclude boycotts really do work.

Chavis, a PhD student, and Leslie, assistant professor of strategic management, studied the American boycott of French wine launched in early 2003 in angry response to France’s opposition to the war in Iraq. Their analysis shows a significant 26 percent drop in French wine sales in the United States at the peak of the boycott, and an average 13 percent drop over the six months of the event.

Agree that the French Products boycott was successful BUT

it also caused us (USA) to have really bad French wine and any good ones are now very costly. (sad IMHO) In addition, it costs us major friendly cooperation for intelligence and politics. (but then the French leaders act like a cartel just the the USA gov't). Behind the scenes, the Germans and the French were very successful partners with us in many aspects. Of course our foreign policy has screwed up these relationships.

Needless to say, Fox is an American company and I pretty much think they need to rethink their exclusion of Ron Paul; therefore to boycott them for their inability be neutral on an US election should be done.

As for previous comments about some RP supporters working for Fox, I think everyone will eventually end up this position b/c Corporations own EVERYTHING - including the damn BCS college bowls (kind of sad I can't watch KU tomorrow - oh well - C'est la vie!)

Good luck to us all not working for Corporations that are run by lobbyists and unethical CEOs!

Keep it up guys!! it's working!!

Tried sending an email to Crest's inbox ... Sorry, we're full. hahah THIS WILL get their attention.

Scratch

Scratch employess of Crest and their stockholders as someone who might vote for Dr Paul

Don't Be Silent About it Either

Call the companies that you do business with. Let them know how you feel and why you feel that way. Tell them that they "are diminishing their brand by advertising on Fox". These companies want your business, that's why their advertising in the first place. If the ad is having the opposite effect, they should know about it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The New Hampshire Republican Party is sponsoring a forum for Republican presidential candidates on Jan. 6, two days before the state's first-in-the-nation primary. THIS MEANS NH GOP IS PAYING FOR IT

The forum, where the candidates will be questioned by Fox New Channel's Chris Wallace, will be held a day after ABC holds back to back Democratic and Republican presidential debates. THIS MEANS FOX HAS ALL RIGHTS TO DETERMINE THE FORUM, INCLUDING WHO WILL BE THERE AND WHAT QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED TO WHOM.

"Never underestimate New Hampshire voters' appetite for politics," said Fergus Cullen, the chairman of the state Republican Party.

Participating in the forum will be Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson. THIS MEANS WHO FOX HAS DETERMINED WILL BE THERE

EXCLUDED: Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul

Unlike a debate, the candidates will face questions from Wallace around a table in a studio on the campus of St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H.. The 90-minute encounter will air live beginning at 8 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel and on Fox News Radio. THIS IS A DESCRIPTION OF THE FORUM WHEN AND WHERE

Statement from Pauls Campaign:

“According to the New Hampshire State Republican Party and an Associated Press report, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul will be excluded from an upcoming forum of Republican candidates to be broadcast by Fox News on January 6, 2007.

“Given Ron Paul’s support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded,” said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been invited.”

Snyder continued, “Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded Dr. Paul from this event.”
