On the evening of, January 3, 2007, Ron Paul supporters will be protesting the exclusion of our candidate from the Fox News candidate forum debate. We will be protesting at local Fox TV Stations across the country and at the Fox Forum Debate location in New Hampshire.
According to numerous recent professional pollsters, such as American Research Group, Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg Poll, Rasmussen Reports, USA Today/Gallup Poll and Boston Globe/University of New Hampsire Survey Center, Ron Paul clearly polls higher than some other candidates, who are invited to the Fox debate forum. These polling results may easily be checked at http://www.usaelectionpolls.com/2008/new-hampshire.html . The exclusion of Ron Paul is not based on polling results or funds raised, which may in fact surpass all other GOP candidates. Final fundraising totals for Ron Paul have reached 20 million dollars for the fourth quarter.
The Fox Broadcast network has systematically excluded Ron Paul from their coverage. Numerous post debate polls conducted by Fox, have shown Ron Paul to be favored by most conservatives, over the pro-war candidates. The Fox network is showing their obvious bias against a candidate that disagrees with their commentators pro-war stance. We are protesting, to inform Americans, that Fox is unfair and unbalanced. Let all GOP primary voters decide, not the Fox network. The Fox network is attempting to manipulate this process, by excluding a now top tier candidate, Dr Ron Paul.

On a side note – please use the phrase “Not broadcasting in the public interest” in chants, on signs, etc. That's FCC speak for “your broadcasting license is in jeopardy”. Follow through and file a complaint with the FCC against the stations if Dr. Paul is excluded from the forum on the 6th.
Fox debate
I've written my protests, for whatever good it will do, to papa Rupert and it hasn't bounced back at me so maybe it got through and maybe it's being automatically trashed; I don't know. I wish it were possible to arrange a simultaneous web-cast of a Ron Paul response to each of the questions offered during this closed debate. I recall a similar TV setup that was used during the 1980 campaign with John Anderson. Not much time to do it and even less time to get CNN or some other news network to advertise it.

i agree with the "cease and desist" posters! Take the 3 anti-war protesters beign arrested for obstructing Mike Huckabee. they werent even (openly) ron paul supporters, yet the media wasted no time in throwing that mud in our eyes. The point is, we dont actually have to do anything wrong in order for the media to attack the cause... and no one reads the rebuttals
This is a bad idea from a marketing viewpoint
You will have multiple news stories about paul compeating... i.e. One story about him getting higher percent than expected and the other Pauls Proteters.. Which do you think will get more covrege.? I would bet the protests.. And Paul will slip into obscurity.. sorry.. NO WAY.

I don't mean to sound corny but we need to do things that are positive and show good spirit not take the bait and use negative energy. There are things we can do by using this in a positive way. Why not have a press conference and invite FOX along with everyone else and say something like "We want to INCLUDE EVERYONE with our message of freedom and peace".

Distraction
We are very worried about a forum. They are happy that we are worried. What are "they" doing? Figuring out how to "take" the vote. We don't have the vote covered. We cannot verify the vote. We don't have a national plan.
I an not a fan of fox...
.. but I agree that there are more positive things we could be doing as shown by Dr. Paul himself having a rally in another part of N.H. We should feel free to tell as many people as we can about the situation, boycott fox ourselves but let's not give them further attention and press. Energies that day should be spent on getting the vote out in N.H.

My opinion
My opinion is that a victory celebration is more in order for Jan. 3rd. Remember the Iowa Caucus? Much more important to celebrate his victory rather than have the negativity of a protest.
protests should be a last resort
aren't there SO MANY POSITIVE things we should be doing now? Aren't there enough people that don't know what Dr. Paul is all about - and are ready for his POSITIVE message, should there first impression be "the candidate with the angry protestors" or the candidate with the sensible message and dedicated supporters who took the time to tell me what FOX news apparently didn't want me to hear!?!?

This is very dangerous right before the primaries. All that has to happen is one protester, may not even be a Paul supporter, causing trouble/violence. The media will pick up the video/story and it will be all over the country in the morning, right before the primaries. This has happened BEFORE! We should have a massive Ron Paul lit/DVD outreach day. All supporters take to the street and road blog, pass out info, etc. A protest of any kind is a very bad idea. This must not happen. We can deal with Fox After we win. Please stop this NOW.
